This arrived yesterday and I immediately washed it and then put it in the freezer. It needs the freezer temp to be really cold (wondering whether some less positive reviews on these products might be where freezer temp or freezing time weren’t ideal. Hmmm maybe)? After at least 12 hours, I quickly made up a cold coffee (using just a dash of hot water to make a tiny strong coffee shot and then topped up with cold coconut milk and cream, as I’m on Keto at the moment). Poured the cold coffee mixture in to the soft cup and then gently began to squeeze evenly around the soft cup. (The inside has a soft lining of frozen water compartments, which looks a bit like a flat-ish swimming armband). Gradually, I noticed ice crystals forming in my coffee and after squeezing and softening up the frozen liner channels, I was left with completely slushed coffee…yum.!! I topped up with my remaining liquid cold coffee from the glass I’d prepared the drink in and it did continue to turn most of it in to slush too! I’m definitely going to order more of these for the summer and store them frozen, so that the whole family can enjoy at least one each of whatever drink they’d like. Really good fun and the slush forms in a matter of a few minutes. (Well, it did for me, anyway)!

Very cool. I'd recommend making your juice up first and leaving it in the fridge to cool before adding it. The colder the better. We found it turned to ice much more effectively this way!

My daughters have used these a number of times with varied success rates! We can’t quite work out why we get great results sometimes but not others! I’m guessing it’s just using the right squash to water ratio. The kids have loved it when they’ve worked which has been about 50% if the time. They have used them without me present so I’ve not monitored the process! They do seem to need 6 hours plus in the freezer so planning ahead is essential. They are easy enough to assemble after washing.

After a very disappointing Mr Frosty experience for myself as a child of the 80s and for my daughter a few years ago, these are really good, and it really does work. Top tip: leave in the freezer for 24 hours and it will work like a dream. overnight is not long enough.

it didn't freeze for a few days and so i had an upset daughter. when it did work it was quite nice

Absolutely useless. Don’t waste your money. Despite following instructions to the letter we ended up with about a teaspoon of slush and not much else. Third time of trying inner liner split !

I got this as a gift and my grandso loves it loads well worth the money as he is having lots of fun with it thank you and well done . Very happy customer.
