Works well. Nice options. Quality construction.
Switch has N.O & N.C contacts. Also has independent LED leads. Plate is thick.Have used similar switch in high tech equipment. Not sure how long the silk screen will last. But looks good.It does require a large diameter hole for the switch body and attachment nut. No surprise on that.

Very well-made doorbell!
It is a very well-made doorbell. However, there was no installation instruction in the box. I had to look up the product page on the Amazon website to learn how to wire for a normally open connection. This is a problem when there are wiring options for NC or NO connections, but the wires are not properly marked. Other than that, it is a first-class manufacturing. I wish there were options for the light color. It only comes with a green LED light.I recommend this doorbell.

Quality build and tactile feel for lighted doorbell or alert bell
The button is exactly as described and shown in the photos. This is a high quality switch that would be suitable for use as a doorbell, entry alert or access, or other uses. The light around the switch is bright enough to draw attention to it for its intended use, without being annoying bright. A very nice balance or form and function. The haptics of the button are well designed in that you feel the positive movement and engagement of the button when pushed. The light does not change or flicker when the button is pushed, it stays constant. At the current $14.99 pricing, this is a very good value for a switch of this build quality. It appears to be able to withstand many years of public use and abuse.

Excellent quality, bright light
I replaced an old plastic doorbell with this button. It opens my garage doors, and is mounted indoors so the light is extremely helpful.Like other reviewers noted, you'll want to make sure you're able to drill at least 2" deep to install the wiring and back of this button, or mount it on a block. No instructions are provided, but you'll only need both white, or both green wires, depending on your currant. The red and black are to light the button only. It's solid metal, looks great and seems durable.Buy with confidence.

Simple design that works
No instructions, simple package no branding. The connections are on the back. The LED is visible in daylight operating on 9V, though 12V is a normal DC low voltage standard. The stainless faceplate has a nice quality thickness. The design looks simple and that is what I like for a modern simple look, but the graphics are a bit too simple and cheap looking vs elegant. I'll probably brush them off and just have a clean plate. For the price well worth it. I'll update the review if it does not hold up in the long run.

High Quality Doorbell--Best For DC Systems
I got this switch to replace my doorbell which had a small lightbulb inside that burned out. I had some issues installing it, but I'll cover that a little later.Construction: This looks and feels like a high-quality doorbell switch. It is waterproof and made from stainless steel. They even include some stainless steel screws for installation. The switch is wired for a blue LED which makes it look a little like a "Ring" product, but this one is really just a momentary switch. There is a profusion of wires that looks a little intimidating but is easy to figure out. The red and black wires need to be connected to 12 volts DC power source. As you can see in the photos, a nine-volt battery worked well to test it out. You will only use two of the other wires depending on how your doorbell is wired. If your bell completes a circuit, you will wire up the green wires. If your doorbell interrupts a circuit, you will use the white wires. So, most people will use the green wires since that is how North American doorbells work mostly. The only issue that bothered me was that it didn't come with a rubber or closed-cell foam gasket. I know everything is sealed, but a little more weather protection would make me feel better.Installation issues:1. First of all, this is a deep doorbell. It protrudes a good two inches into the base you install it into. You may need a paddle bit and drill-out space for the switch if you just have a small hole for a wire as I have.2. The doorbell needs DC current (around 12 volts) for the LED to operate. My doorbell system operates with 21 volts AC (measured at the transformer). The switch part really doesn't care about AC or DC, but the LED needs DC to run. If you have a DC system, you can probably easily install the LED part, but my AC system provides some challenges. So I need to figure out a bridge rectifier, a low voltage transformer, or run some DC voltage lines to the unit. Not an easy thing in a finished house. So, if you have an AC doorbell system, be away that you may not be able to make the LED part work.Despite the problems I have had, this is obviously a high-quality unit that is priced very competitively. It is a great value. It may not be a great replacement for an AC doorbell system, but great to install if you are building a house.

Looks and works as described. Nice tactile feedback.
The lighted ring lights up blue on a separate circuit. Pressing the button provides an audible and tactile feedback. It's very clear when the button is pressed. The plate is far thicker than you would think--it is going to last forever. Well, longer than the switch.Having both NO and NC makes it possible to wire the light in the NC circuit so that the light turns off when pressed. That would provide visual feedback as well... Not that it's needed. I just didn't expect the NC circuit.
