I love this straightener as it works quickly and reduces breakage. My hair is thin and very curly and I have stopped using other flat irons as the metal comb plates when heated straighten smoothly and instantly. I only use it once or twice as week and hope it lasts.

Gave it to my sons girlfriend as a gift , she has very long wavy hair.. she loves it!

I have curly, thick hair. This works perfectly to smooth my hair without making it flat looking. Takes some getting used to, but very quick to use once you get the hang of it.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m not sure what my curl pattern type is( it’s thick and and curly in the middle, top and bottom are all straight). I have used expensive dryers and straightens and I don’t feel they leave my hair as smooth and straight as this item. Only take less than a minute to warm up to temperature 320’, the maximum temperature is 400’, and be careful for the hot, don’t use on the wet hair also that the steam might burn you. I would recommend to make sure you use it on freshly washed and dried hair.

The media could not be loaded.  Its been a while haven’t straightened my hair but i am kinda impressed. Its protecting your hair , not damaging, no pulling it was so easy to use plus works like a comb . But I will still brush my hair before using it for better results . I have thick, wavy hair just past my shoulders, with long layers. Unfortunately, this straightener did not work well for my hair type. It was very difficult to get my hair strands into it - I had to separate them out into very small sections in order to fit into the teeth, and it took forever to actually do my whole head. It's also very hard to get my hair apart enough to get the device to go in from underneath. Because of the design, you can only use it by running it straight down from the top side of the hair, or from the underside of the hair. When I use regular round brush style straighteners, I can go at my hair from the side, which works better for me.The multiple temperature options are great, and the device does not get hot on the outside, so you hand is safe from burns that way. However, even on the lowest setting, this brush made my hair strands so hot that I couldn't grab them right after they came through, so I would need to wear a glove.I do think the style of this straightener would be great for regular/thinner hair strands. And it is a very nice, sleek looking straightener with great features, and packaged well in a cute black/pink box. It just isn't the right straightener for very thick hair.
