Some supermarkets sometimes stock this. But I can't guarantee they have it in stock, so I just buy boxes of the stuff from Amazon.Just use half a box and equal water if there's just 2 of you eating.Makes great onion rings, fish, banana fritters.Sure, you could make your own, but buying this is still pretty good value, and less messy.Don't be afraid to swap water for sparkling water, or even better, beer.My free hint of the day - onion rings: If you want to make for a few people in one go, but don't want a kerfuffle while your guests are there - fry a few batches for a little while at 150c, until just about coloured, take out, drain, then put in fridge or freezer until you need to eat. Throw in a hot oven, an air-fryer, or a deep fryer for a few minutes on 180c, and away you go. So simple.

My mother always made her own battered fish, fresh fish from the fishman & she used to buy this mix. It was delicious as a child!Recently the supply has dried up so she is thrilled to have it back in her larder! So is Dad!

Product arrived today 4 Feb 2023 and has use by date of May 2023 really annoyed with the no returns policy. This is a total rip off.

I have also used this mix to make very acceptable Yorkshires.

I always make my own batter a fake KFC But I thought I will give this ago after reading reviews OMG made some cod in batter wonderful then I made some Chicken Breast that's dinner sorted for tomorrow there was some batter over so fried it and this will be a treat for my chickens tomorrow I love this batter nothing wasted I have more packets to use but after will order more will never make my own batter again this is so tasty and Juicy, where have you been all my life, takes the stress out of making your own Thank you
