Clogs the nozzle. *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2018* I have used about every filament out there and this is by far the best PLA I have ever printed with. I am reviewing the black PLA from NovaMaker. It came sealed with desiccant in a nice box and the spool was nice as well. There is no popping when printing which means it was nice and dry. It sticks to the build plate very well and the prints are incredibly strong. It also bridges very, very well, with minimal stringing. You really can't beat this filament for the price.**** Update - I have revised my review to 2 stars after getting about a quarter of the way into the roll. I am having nothing but issues with jamming now and upon measuring the filament with my calipers the range is all over the place. Some sections are right on 1.75mm but then a few mm away goes up to 2.0mm! This is what is causing my jamming. I have wasted so much filament by trying to cut away the inconsistent sections and thinking its ok to print again just to jam part way in. This is a real shame as this filament is nice and dry and has really nice melting properties. If they could fix their size consistency issues I would try it again.**** Update 2 - When I changed filament to one of my other know good rolls I notice I couldn't prime the nozzle as it was clogged again from my last printing attempt. I tried everything to unjam it with no luck.I actually had to disassemble my hot end and replace the throat and nozzle it was so clogged. I have heard of this happening before but never had it happen to me until now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do Not Hesitate! *by P***O on Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2017* I've been 3D printing for 18 months now and have gone through probably 20 spools of PLA. I had one bad experience with an "off brand" and have stuck with the big name PLA since... until now. I couldn't resist the extremely competitive price of this PLA and decided I would give it a try. I am very pleased that I did. From the two photos you can see it works exactly as it should, especially the 1st photo which shows how well the bottom layer is printing. I did not have to adjust my extruder temperature, or my bed temperature which was a huge plus.I'm very pleased that I'm going to be saving so much with my future PLA purchases! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice filament *by S***1 on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2018* I really wanted to come on here and bash this filament for purely selfish reasons...Amazon sent me the wrong color, and it delayed a print I was doing. Selfish right?...anyway, a few months have passed, and I finally got to using the white PLA from NovaMaker.I have to say that I am really pleased with this filament. The prints I have done so far have been really strong, and there is far less "oozng" than with the other white filament I tried before. The color is great, and it just prints well if you take a few minutes and make a test print to calibrate the temperature.I'm trying to think of a con here, but I honestly haven't found one. Does it print as well as some of the "premium" filaments that cost over twice as much? maybe...I haven't tried enough of them to say. Does it print as well as, or better than, any of the "budget" filaments out there? Absolutely. I used to be a fan of Hatchbox, but this may have me converted. This spool has just been way more reliable than the spool of Hatchbox white that I used.To be fair, I have only tried one spool, and maybe I got the exceptional case, but so far so good. I would like to try the black that I originally ordered.
