This has become one of my favourite hydrating essences. The texture looks thick at first, but it spreads easily and absorbs much better than I expected without feeling greasy. The hydration is excellent. My skin feels plump, soft, and comfortable straight after applying it. With regular use, I've noticed a healthy glow, and it definitely helps achieve that smooth, "glass skin" look when layered with the rest of my skincare routine. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts much longer than I expected. Just one or two pumps are enough for my whole face, making it great value despite the small-looking bottle. Another thing I appreciate is how calming it feels. Whenever my skin is feeling dry or a bit irritated, this essence helps reduce that tight, uncomfortable feeling and leaves my skin looking healthier. Overall, if you're looking for deep hydration, a radiant glow, and a product that lasts for ages, this essence is easy to recommend.

Absolutely amazing stuff. I was really miserable and at my wits end with my skin. It was dull, flaky and just generally dehydrated. Nothing was working for me. I have bounced from one skincare product to another promising great results but just leaving me with congested skin if the product was too much or causing more dryness if it wasn't enough and a storage box full of expensive unused creams and face washes. . Thought I'd give this a go as I honestly felt like I'd tried everything else. The thought of snail slime is pretty gross and my daughter and son were pretty disgusted by it and laughed at me. My son who is 13 will only kiss me goodnight after he's checked I've no snail slime on!! I've been using this now for two weeks and I have to say the results are amazing. My skin feels genuinely plumped up. My make up isn't all flaky with my skin peeling off dry dead skin cells come evening. I use this miracle serum after washing my face every morning with Paula's choice face wash, leave it to sit while I brush my teeth and then follow with some Clinique moisturising gel before doing my make up for the day and then at night after a full cleanse I put it on again, allow it to settle in a bit, as it's very wet when it first goes on, and then put some ceramidin cream on for an overnight boost. There's hardly any smell to it and it soon goes out of your mind where it comes from. My skin is now really glowing and plumped. It actually looks better than when I've had Botox and I love Botox. My pores are more refined and not as clogged as have been and I just have a lovely glow under my make up. I've also added some Mac strobe to my foundation to add a bit of extra moisture which I think is helping as the Estée Lauder double wear I use is very drying. This all adds to a healthy glow to start my day. Overall I am very happy with my snail slime and very grateful to the snails and will definitely be sticking with it with these results. I highly recommend giving it a chance and seeing for yourself.

I have honestly lost count of how many bottles of the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence I have used. It has been a must have in my skincare routine for the past two years, and I keep repurchasing it. It leaves my face feeling so hydrated and moisturised, and a little goes a long way. It has no noticeable smell, and although it can feel slightly greasy when first applying it, it absorbs into the skin really well almost immediately. It is also great for layering with other skincare products. After using it consistently for two years, I can confidently say this is one product I will continue to repurchase.

Bought this due to the hype online and have been using consistently for almost 2 weeks now. A good product to add into a skincare routine but not a holy grail IMO. Can help to achieve glass skin, but not on its own. See this as an active skin product - you will need to cleanse, tone, use this then apply moisturiser and serums Pros ✔️ Cost effective - large bottle and small amount required so will last a while ✔️ quality, simple ingredients. No long list of added fragrances etc ✔️ 2x daily use has helped to smooth my skin, improved the effectiveness of moisturising products and soothed blemishes before they escalate Cons ✖️ sticky texture - you’ll either love it or hate it. Personally I’m abit squeamish about snails so it reminds me of slime 🤢 reduce this by applying to wet skin (after cleansing and toning) and by patting to press into skin rather than rubbing

I bought this snail-trail as a private joke after seeing several videos of Russian girls who keep giant snails as pets. The liquid is presented in a cylindrical, clear container with a pump dispenser that gives one drop at a time. It is slimy stuff - how could it be otherwise? - clear, odourless and cool on the skin. It feels surprisingly pleasant to use, fresh and calming, and it is quickly absorbed. It is very economical in use. After the morning cleanse and tone, I pump one drop into my hand and apply it as instructed with gentle fingertip patting. That one drop is enough to treat my whole face. It is advised to avoid the lips and eye area. Following the slime (I'm not being derogatory, I don't know what else to call it) I apply moisturiser as usual. I find I use less moisturiser than before. My skin feels happy and clean. Unsolicited, my dear partner remarked how my skin looks younger and more alive. He added it looks fresh and new, like a paving slab after the rain. What more can a girl ask?

Let me start by saying I have pretty good skin overall. It’s very dry but clear, and I’m also a beauty and skincare content creator so I’m used to trying out products and knowing what to look for. I bought this snail mucin essence during a sale because I kept seeing it all over TikTok and social media, and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, for me it didn’t. I’ve given it a chance. I took it with me while travelling, used it consistently at home and on holiday, but I just didn’t get the results others seem to rave about. When I used it on its own it felt like it wasn’t doing much. My skin didn’t feel noticeably more hydrated or moisturised, and there was no visible glow or improvement in appearance. It didn’t break me out or cause any issues, but it just didn’t add anything either. That said, there are a few positives. The consistency is lovely and smooth, and I like the cooling feel when applying it. It sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling soft to the touch. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a huge plus, especially for people with sensitive skin. And it’s a great travel size. It fit perfectly in my hand luggage and felt like a convenient addition to my routine when layered with other products. Interestingly, it did seem to work better on my mum’s skin. She has more mature combination skin, and it left her face looking more hydrated and plump. So it may just be one of those products that works differently depending on your skin type. In my opinion this isn’t a miracle product like it’s made out to be on social media but it could still be worth trying if you’re curious and want something light to layer in your routine.

This product is really helpful as part of my moisturising and hydrating routine. It absorbs easily and is gentle on my skin. I reccomend this product - its value for money as a little goes a long way. The latest one I've got the pump is a little restricted, but others were fine.

Llevo usando este sérum unos 2 años y lo uso junto con el 6X Peptide de COSRX. Para mí hacen muy buena pareja: primero me pongo el 6X Peptide y después la mucina de caracol. Inicialmente tenía miedo de que me quedase la cara tipo "sudada" (que no es el caso) y la textura es un poco particular... tipo gel y algo viscosa al principio, pero se extiende muy bien y no me deja sensación pegajosa. Se absorbe rápido y deja la piel hidratada, suave y con ese efecto de buena cara que se nota bastante. La formulación también me parece muy buena: tiene un 96% de filtrado de secreción de caracol y además ingredientes hidratantes y calmantes como ácido hialurónico, pantenol y alantoína. Es de esos productos que hacen que la piel tenga mejor aspecto y esté más cómoda. Cuando tengo la piel más seca o un poco irritada, me gusta especialmente porque noto que la calma e hidrata, pero en general me deja la cara "fresca". En la parte 1 de la foto aparece el COSRX 6X Peptide Collagen Booster. En la 2 está este sérum de mucina de caracol y en la 3 aparecen los dos juntos, que son los que uso habitualmente en mi rutina. Después de 2 años usándolo, sigo repitiendo, así que eso dice todo :)
