The SteamBox is a unique portable device to heat up food. With a little planning, and a few extra steam trays, it works well for packing lunches. I keep it on my desk at work. Takes about 25 min to Steam so I let it go while I work.The battery feature is nice for day trips and generally allows for two steamed meals (recommend to buy extra steam trays).A great device and I love the phone app! Looking forward to seeing more features for the app as well as an Apple Watch app to tell me/alarm when it’s done cooking or when the battery is low.I’d love to see additional features in the next model such as USB-C charging and charging while device is in use (if possible). Keep the features coming!

Just received this today. At first glance, the design is absolutely sleek and clean. The issue is that heating box itself is bulky and weighs much more than I thought and is not standard lunch bag friendly. It's essentially like carrying a gaming console, a toaster, a portable projector or a portable audio box, which is...to be honest kind of awkward, but the design disguises it as some type of futuristic tech presentation tool for work. I really wanted to show it off at the office but im kind of embarrassed right now so I'll have to keep it in my car until I perfect a system that won't be too distracting for my shared workspace in the office. I'll give this a try for the next month and report my findings if the functionality compensates for the bulkiness.Maybe there's a v2 that's a bit less bulky?

In my experience, on one battery charge this will heat one meal to hot, two meals to warm and three meals to just above room temperature. The app is nice to tell me just how much charge is left in the battery, and I await their "Tips," Recipes," "News," and "FAQ" that the app says are "coming soon."

Great steambox! Better than hotlogic for heating up foods. Doesn't cook food, but heats it up perfectly!

Pretty cool device. I bought this on a whim thinking it would be pretty helpful. So far it seems to work as advertised. I will update after about a month or so. Otherwise I would say this us a great device/lunchbox for people who love their food to be hot and hate for it to be dry. That happens more than most people openly admit.

I was really hoping for a wonderful product. But despite being fully charged it won’t stay on long enough to heat up. I used the app and then it disconnected. So I tried with the touchscreen and it won’t work either. I have to plug charger in and unplug to get to stay on but not for long. I really hope it’s just a fluke I will order another maybe from the actual site and maybe it’ll be better. But we will see.

I was watching this product since it’s crowd-funding days and finally took the plunge to buy one. I can say: I have no regrets! It is user-friendly and heats my meal at work, in my office, while others are waiting in line for the microwave. It is also great for grade A snacking for my kids, when we go to the park or softball (no more munching on boring granola bars)! Overall, I could not be more satisfied!

Zeer tevreden met onze Steamboxen. Mijn collega en ik hebben geen magnetron op het werk en zijn vaak onderweg. Eten is dus altijd een gedoe. Deze Steambox is daarom een ideale uitkomst voor ons, werkt beter dan we hadden verwacht!
