Metaltex USARolling Cart, White, 3-Tier

I have a dorm-size fridge and a microwave tucked inside my large bedroom closet, and needed something to keep a few dishes, instant coffee and condiments in. Being a non-ambulatory wheelchair user, shelves of "normal" height just don't work for me. This nicely fits the bill. Tucks neatly in between the fridge and the wall, and sturdy but light enough to pull it in and out for access. Wide enough for a box of cereal and sandwich plates, it completes my "kitchenette" so I can get breakfast without dressing to go downstairs, or heat a frozen meal for a comfy dinner in bed. Just got a 4-tier cart for craft and sewing supplies, and will probably order more for other storage needs. Very prompt delivery and super-easy to put together myself, no tools needed. I did add vinyl mats to the bottoms of shelves to keep small items from falling thru, and to contain any mess from minor spills.Update: I've purchased more. One I use as a "trolley" to ferry items from one room to another, or in and out of my elevator. Though it appears to be wobbly, it's remarkably stable. I can confidently nudge it with my w/c footrest on level surfaces or push/pull with a hand over the elevator entrance and uneven thresholds. Stability is not affected even when top heavy with dishes and mugs. Three more fit neatly in my barrier-free kitchen. Two fit under the lowered countertops in my food prep area. One holds flour and baking mixes, sugars, pastas, rice and beans in 64 and 32 oz. rectangular plastic ware that fits and stacks perfectly two deep on each shelf. Another is loaded with spices, vinegars and cooking oils. The third is under my sink for soaps and cleaning supplies. Each pulls in and out as easily as cabinetry that costs 5 x as much. They'd be easy to face with a decorative panel if you don't want the contents to be visible.

I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. I was looking for something 10" wide (to fit between my washer and dryer) but didn't pay attention to the depth (from bar to bar). I'm thinking about buying another one and just using zip-ties to connect the two end-to-end. The cart seems really sturdy. As other people say, the wheels are pretty cheap, but I don't have a problem with moving it on tile and they would be easy to replace if I wanted better casters. There's no hardware involved. The baskets just slide nicely into the slots on the ends, and the wheels just pop on. So it's very easy to put together! A box of Tide detergent fits perfectly in a basket (parallel to the 10" side with the bars). It works well to hold my detergent, softener, dryer sheets, as well as a Swiffer duster and even a container of cat food. I don't even roll it out very often because I keep most of the frequently used stuff on the top or on the end for easy grabbing. Overall, it does exactly what I bought it for. The quality is exactly in line with the purchase price, in my opinion.

Easy to put together and provides a good amount of much-needed storage space. I won’t be using it to roll around which is good since it probably wouldn’t hold up too well but for my purposes (standing stationary next to the bathroom sink) it’s perfect.

When you buy this, know that you are NOT getting something of incredible sturdiness and impeccable quality. But it's dirt cheap so you should have probably figured that out already. So here's why I LOVE it:1) it's extremely lightweight and portable- let me qualify this - it's not because of the wheels because those things don't work for crap. I'd be better off balancing the cart on the backs of my my sons' hamsters and letting THEM shuffle the thing around the house. Mostly the wheels are only useful because they keep the bottom wire rack from resting directly on my hardwood floors. No, this is portable because the two siderails have a little loop at the top of each (check the photo) that extends above the top basket and you can pick it up with these "handles" and carry it around very easily. Personally, I prefer this to trying to scoot it around on casters anyhow. It will NOT come apart when you lift it from these handles - which is awesome - because it is not built like one of those obnoxious plastic shelving units from Walmart where the shelves are part of the structure and pulling anything from the top takes the top OFF. The side rails are one solid piece and the baskets fit nicely between them, locking them together HORIZONTALLY, not VERTICALLY.2) it's a great size for storing my cosmetics - it's the PERFECT size for storing my cosmetics- I use this to organize my cosmetics. I don't want to store them in the bathroom because of moisture issues and instead load them up onto this very petite and portable cart in cute little organizing boxes (hint: most of them have at least a piece of visible Amazon.com swoosh on the side - yes, I cut up old Amazon boxes for this purpose) and leave them in my walk-in closet until I'm ready to use them each morning. Then I pick up the whole lot using the top "handles" and carry it into my bathroom where it serves as a fantastic makeup cart.3) it's cheap. very cheap.- For the purpose of getting my cosmetics out of a hard-to-find-anything-anymore drawer in the moist bathroom and into a more organized and safer location, I couldn't beat this with anything I could find specifically designed for that purpose. It's a great item for the price and I couldn't recommend it more for a little portable organizer.So if you need something small and aren't afraid to do a little bit of light lifting this is a perfect small shelving unit organizer.

Due to COVID-19, I use this shelf to put all the cleaning product. It is the right size. Perfect !

Good for what I paid for it. It is a little wobbly but the contents are heavy.

Easy to assemble. Wish it were taller.
