Out of all the hair matte pastes I've tried, this is by far the best one. Little goes a long way as its sticky texture means works well making the hair stick in place. It's easy to remove with a brush if you think you may have added too much, washes off easily as well. The smell is nice and refreshing, both men and women can use it as it doesn't smell 'feminine' or 'masculine'. The caffeine is probably the best ingredient as it stimulates hair growth and revitalises the hair. I'm very happy with this product!

Nice smelling product with great hold but it takes a fair bit of effort to wash out.

UPDATE!! Got in touch with THIX, and it seems I had been delivered one that was not stored correctly.Just received two from them as an exchange and these are how they should be. No white bits and more paste like.Excellent customer service as well!!Tried this earlier in the year and was excellent. Texture was like a paste, easily pliable and worked well.Eventually ran out last month so ordered more.However, This tin the Texture is more like a clay, gritty and when warmed up in hands and put through hair it leaves little white bits. Very disappointed, not sure if it’s a bad batch or they have changed the formula.

My first few orders of this were amazing. I liked the product A LOT and was kind of a brand ambassador to my mates. Anyway... I started to notice that I would get one tin that was runny and goopy (this is GOOD believe me) and then another tin comes hard/set like a putty. This is NOT GOOD. Why? When it is hard or more solid - you put a little on your hands to apply. But it doesn't break up properly. You are left looking like you have chronic dandruff / as the product doesn't homogenize with the hair. It's really disappointing as I love love loved it initially.As for the hair rejuvenation properties I can't comment. I just got another can through and enough is enough.It must be a production issue as it's so inconsistent.All I can say is - if you get a tub that looks hard rather than runny - send it back because you'll look like you have dandruff and it's a pain to wash out when it's like that.Sorry - I love to give good review but for the price point I would just use the Schwartzkopff surf hair paste which is a different consistency in the can (at 1/3rd of the price) but it goes on great and gives a great matt finish without looking like you have a skin problem!

Really nice quality, smells clean, my hair looked thicker right from the start.

Thought it had reasonable hold, like the texture but did feel like my hair was a bit greasy after applying. Not noticed any thickness from using it. Reverted back to my trusty beach Matt paste from got2b.

I personally love this stuff!I put it on Damp hair by rubbing it into a thin film on my fingers.Rub it all over and SEMI style..... Allow to fully dry then run your comb through it. This will give a natural look and still hold well.Would highly recommend if you still want too see none clumping hair! Great if your hair is thinning, try the method I've just said. 👌🏻

This seems OK so far, it needs to be used for a while before you see the results claimed. I will say that it's a bit sticky/tacky to apply though, although it's fine when it's on.
