Now on the delivery front, I had ordered desertcart service with installation which included instant return if not found suitable or damaged. Here the problem was delivery team said we are here only to deliver and cannot take back. For that I have to contact customer service. This was absolutely the opposite of what I paid for. Contacting desertcart customer service was really painful. I was on call with them for 45 mins explaining the problem and they transferring me from one person to another. Finally the last person who came on call said they will pick up the product same day but no one turned up. At night I again contacted customer service and they said the pick was scheduled for next day (which means the person whom I spoke before had lied to me). Finally next day after one more follow up they picked up the order. The problem was I received a cheap and defective product. Plus the additional service which I had paid for was not provided. Plus they left such a big storage unit at my home creating enough hassle. My house looked like a mess during that time and imagine with toddler around it becomes quite dangerous. desertcart needs to meet the service standards they charge customers for and their customer service shouldn’t tell lies.
