Dynasty: The Complete Series

I loved the OG Dynasty. They did a great job of modernizing the OG storylines, and also do their own storylines. The show has a great balance of drama/comedy. The reboot has a lot of characters from the original series. The best characters are Blake, Fallon, Alexis, Dominique, Adam and Steven. It was sad that Steven was only in S1 and S2. The box set includes S5, the final season. I personally love S5, mostly because S5 had so many OG references. I still can't believe they did the Rita storylines from the OG. It was very well executed and Daniella was amazing in the role. I loved all the OG characters. When I saw Daniel Reece, I was so surprised, but I loved that they did a reboot version of Daniel and his storyline with Sammy Jo was great. Then Ben Carrington arrives later in the season. Loved Ben in the reboot. Good casting. And Amanda was introduced in S4 and promoted to a regular in S5. Dominique and Alexis were great in S4 and S5, and I loved that they introduced Dex in S5. Great casting too. Dex and Alexis were amazing together, so much chemistry. And the best part, we get to see Claudia and Steven return in the final season.

I love that the dvds aren’t those laserdisc ones. The ones you put in one way to play one side then flip it to play the next few episodes. I also love the packaging. I would definitely recommend.

I can't say enough nice things about this series. It was fun and campy and I liked it better than the original. I think it could have run for a couple more great seasons but it had a nice series wrap up and I will definitely binge the series again.
