Reversible Grill/Griddle Plate for Cuisinart Griddler GR-4N 5-in-1

We have an old model Griddler that works great, but the original plates were in poor shape. These fit perfectly and work great. Cheaper than needlessly replacing whole machine.

Works great but it is not cast iron as the description says. That would be amazing

I am having a hard time understanding all of the bad reviews about these plates . I've used them almost everyday since I've gotten them and I actually think they're a better quality than the originals. After reading the reviews I went to the manufacturers website to order the original plates until I found out that they don't sell them as a set , the top and bottom have different part numbers. They're the exact same plate top or bottom and they cost almost double for one plate as a set of these. As far as the Teflon coating coming off I haven't seen any coating loss I have had none compared to the originals , but that's probably just a learning curve on my part. Cuisinart tells you the plates are dishwasher safe , but that's when you'll see coating loss . So far with these because of the coating I haven't had to wash them , I just turn the temp up and cook off any residue , then use the original scraper to clean them before the next use. After I saw how well they were built I was going to buy another set but got to thinking about it and why buy another set as a back up when it looks like these are going to last for a very long time.

Bought these to replace the original plates, which are no longer non-stick due to coating wear. They're indistinguishable from the originals.

The UsKitchen Reversible Grill/Griddle Plate works great, you just have to watch what you use to clean them with and how. I would suggest using Bar Keepers Friend and a Kitchen Cleaning Pad. I scrap off the stuck on food with the plastic scraper that comes with the Griddle Plates first then sprinkle on the Bar Keepers Friend and wet the Cleaning Pad. Then gently scrub the entire surface of the griddle and rinse. Never use any type of metal cleaning pads as these will damage the finish on the griddle plate.

The bacon kept sticking to the tray and my husband said we would need to buy a new griddle. I’m so glad I checked for the replacement trays, now bacon comes off the trays easily. A perfect fit with my griddle. Saved me $$$

I took the plunge and purchased these replacement Griddler plates that had mixed reviews. Cuisinart wanted $35 PER plate or $100 for a new unit so I figured I couldn’t go wrong ordering these. My plates were disgusting after years of use and the finish was coming off. Side note I never felt the original plates were great quality.I have used the unit 4 times now making hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. I have not had an issue with clean up. Nothing has stuck and a basic netting sponge with soapy water has cleaned the plates.

The original plates that came with the Griddler only held up for about a year before the coating wore through and food started to stick. Original replacement plates cost as much as a whole new appliance! When I found these from US Kitchen at less than half the price of the ones from Cuisinart, I bought 2 sets. I use my machine several times a week. Almost 4 years later, they look and perform like new. One of the 2 sets I bought has not even come out of the box yet! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
