DEWALT Atomic Compact Series 25 ft. Tape Measure (DWHT38125S)

What a great tape measure. It even has marking for 1/16 1/8 and etc on the tape. My tape measure extends 3 more feet than advertised for not collapsing while extended straight out. The tape is coated with a protective covering that protects the numbers on the blade so they do not wear off. I should have bought it a long time ago.

I've owned quite a few tape measures over the years, and this is easily my favorite. The standout feature is how rigid the blade remains when extended. It reaches much farther without folding over than most tape measures I've used, which makes measuring by yourself much easier. I also appreciate the markings. Every increment is clearly labeled, which makes measurements quicker to read at a glance. Yes, I can calculate the fractions myself, but having them printed on the tape is surprisingly convenient and helps avoid mistakes. The finger brake is another feature I didn't realize I would use as much as I do. It makes controlling the blade during measurements much easier and helps prevent the tape from snapping back unexpectedly. The overall build quality feels excellent. It has quickly become the tape measure I reach for first. I’ve got Craftsman, Milwaukee and Stanley tapes. This Dewalt tops them all. I can’t find anything that I don’t like about this tape. It is sturdy and has impressive stand out ability at nearly 11 feet. It is smooth with great retraction. I’ll buy another one when this one ever gives up the ghost.

DEWALT Atomic Compact Series 25 ft is SOLID! They sell this same tape measure at HD. It is cheaper here especially if you buy a two pack. This tape measure is solidly built and passes the 10ft straight out test without crinkling. The measurements are well marked. I highly recommend.

Deserves all the positive comments. Used to measure various tall windows for drapes. So much easier to do with tape that remains stiff. Worked for 9 foot height and width. Pulls out and retracts easily. Locks with no problem. Easy to read measurements.

El producto es bueno, calidad excelente propio de la firma Dewalt, pero aqui en España tiene una pega insalvable: mide solamente en pulgadas por lo que resulta poco o más bien nada útil. La equivocación fue mía al no darme cuenta de este hecho al adquirirlo.

My favorite measure tape. Not flimsy - very sturdy. Love that it has all the increments clearly labelled.
