Great word game for young adults and English learners!
This is a great fun word/vocabulary game. It can be quick and fun and a great way to help kids improve their vocabulary. This would also be great for ESL and English language learners of all ages.

More People = More Fun
My wife and I recently got to try out the WordUp! Game, with the two of us playing several rounds against each other.Gameplay consists of rolling the included dice and adding the total to determine the length of the target word. You then flip over a "subject" card, and try to think of words that both match the subject and are of the correct length. The catch is that there is a scrabble-style points system, so finding the best word is critical. Finally, if two teams submit the same word, neither team earns points for that round. Oh, and there is also supposed to be a time limit (with the included hourglass) but my wife found out that I needed considerably more time than the game allowed to come up with my word. For instance, if the subject is a 6-letter state, both Nevada and Hawaii are acceptable answers, but Nevada earns 22 points while Hawaii earns only 16. My wife can think of both of these states, count out the letters, and do the math in her head as to which one is worth more points in the time it takes me to find one state with the correct number of letters (with me repeatedly counting on my fingers). Our overall impression is that it is fun for a couple if they are evenly matched, but what we found is that my wife's skill for language, spelling, vocabulary, and quick thinking made the game one-sided. Because of this, we agreed that it would be a lot more fun in a group setting, with teams collaborating to come up with their best answer.$22.99 (at the time of this review) feels just a bit overpriced, but it's been a while since we bought a game like this so that may be normal now. At any rate, the game was fun and we do recommend it.

Fast paced and Easy to learn
We love this game! It was really easy to learn quickly. The directions are clear and it gets you thinking. You are trying to think of words the other players wouldn’t think of so you can get points. We have only played it as a 2 player game. It would be fun and probably more challenging with more people! It’s fun, gets your mind working, and easy to learn. I recommend!

So fun!
I love playing this game with my 9th graders. They get really into it. I really love playing with hubs at home. It gets competitive so play with folks that know how to lose😂

Fast paced game for most ages
We are really enjoying this game as a family, for multiple reasons:~ It’s fast paced, and everyone plays all the time. So there’s no waiting for someone to finish their turn.~ It’s compact, so easy to store and to travel with.~ It’s for all ages, so long as the players can spell. This makes it a great game for the family and parties. Sometimes age matters, but I often found that younger kids know even more in terms of facts and names.~ It’s very simple and easy to learn. The game can get tricky at times. For example, if it’s a four letter state, it can get quite challenging to find a unique word that no one else might have. But it’s fair play for all.I’m glad we added this game to our game closet. It’s definitely a winner.

Pretty fun
This is pretty fun. The directions are simple and easy to follow. It seems like it will be pretty easy until you actually start playing. I can see this being a lot of fun with more than two people but we had a blast with just me and my partner.

We had fun
Wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be quite fun and a real thinker. I can believe I couldn't think of answers to some topics I thought I had in the bag! Can play multiple times and still get new answers and not be bored.
