I've only had this for a few weeks, but I like the extra cushion it gives my mattress. I don't know that it makes me sleep any better, but it doesn't make me sleep worse and it makes my bed not as hard.

I bought the purple one that you see all over these pages about a queen of that one within a month it was totally ripping apart I did get a refund on it but I really didn't want to throw the whole thing away cuz some was salvageable so I thought I'll get something to put on top of it, so I searched and searched and this one had great reviews and I got a queen for $27 so I couldn't go wrong it came today and I did what they said shake it and then put it in the dryer. It fit over the purple one perfect and it has sides on it like a sheet that can go over your mattress and the quality the stitching is really done well. Now what I have liked it alone without something under it? I don't know I guess it's what you're looking looking for the counts the purple one underneath is 4 in so this one fit right over it and my sheets fit perfect with both of them. Again I don't think I would like it alone it's not thick enough but in might be just what you're looking for but I recommend having another one underneath it. But I can't tell you enough about the quality it's great quality

We received the mattress topper exactly when it said it would arrive. Followed the directions to allow it to fluff itself up naturally for 24 hours, and then we placed it on our bed. We were pleased with how soft the topper was and how comfortable. However, the cooling effect isn't noticeable at all. Our sheets are not thick, so that shouldn't be an issue. I even took the sheets off and laid myself directly on top of the pad just to see if the sheets were an issue, but unfortunately, the cooling effect was still missing.

Is it a magical fix? No but it did make an old hard bed more comfortable and will allow us to get more time out of it. I was impressed with thickness and how much better the mattress felt and my son likes it a lot (his bed). Make sure you put in the dryer or allow to fluff for the required time. It really made a difference.
