This moon lamp makes a great gift! We are painting them for Father’s Day. It’s one of those functional gifts that will last for many years.The moon has a nice texture and clear prints of craters, etc. Once plugged in, you can change the interior light, which makes the painted moon look great!To complete the project, we used our paints and foam brushes. It took us about 30min to complete. We kept rotating the moon to make sure that we got color everywhere.The kiddos enjoyed it and so did the recipients. This project was a success!

This is a great art project that has an even better finish look. I love watching my grandkid put her own spin on painting the globe. Once it is lit up it is absolutely beautiful. Would recommend

This is a fantastic set for kids who like to paint. Comes with everything kids need to make a masterpiece of their own. Then once finished the can plug it in and use as a nightlight, or a cute light to show off to their friends. Has some sample things you can paint. 2 paint brushes. For any kid that paints regularly, they will probably have an assortment of brushes at home which could come in handy. To make it light, you'll need a cube to plug in. Cord could be a bit longer. Has remote to turn on and off, along with different settings. This makes and awesome birthday or Christmas gift.

I ordered this for my 10 year old granddaughter who is really into anything arts and crafts and she LOVES this! The moon lamp is pretty by itself but once she started painting her night time in the mountains scene that she chose, and you could see the light inside illuminating the paint and making it shine even brighter, it was beautiful. She wouldn't let me take a picture until she's done, so I will try to update this and post a picture later so it shows how beautiful and bright it is when painted. When I ordered this I thought maybe it was preprinted with the scene that's shown but that's not how it is. The globe is plain so it's a blank, empty canvas ready for a child's imagination. It arrived the next day after ordering and was packaged securely so nothing broke. Everything you need came with it, and my granddaughter had a blast experimenting with the remote before she started painting. This is a great project for anyone- not just a child who likes arts and crafts

I am really enjoying this moon lamp. I am really liking it as it is, without painting it. I haven't decided if I am going to paint it or not. (really unusual for me, as I paint on everything else! Lol)Should I decide to paint it, it came with a set of nice acrylic paints, 2 paint brushes, and paint dish for mixing colors or whatever.It has a nice remote to control the many colors, the brightness, as well as some effects of the lighting.It also has a nice stand that was very easy to assemble. And! It also came with two little astronauts and a spaceship. Cute idea! The charging cord for the lamp is also included. Once charged it does stay lit for quite a while (several hours before it requires charging).

On one side I have the moon on the other side I painted my grandson business logo. It looks awesome and he loves it. It's right on the counter as you walk into his business. Many have asked where they could get one. Excellent conversation piece. Light options.
