My 4yr old male cat lost 6lbs (he was 16lbs) and we took him to the vet spent 1,200 on tests with no answers. We had the idea to feed him kitten food since it has more calories. He loves it and has gained some weight back to around 13lbs. He looks very healthy now and he definitely loves the flavor.

What I love about Iams is that they have different cat foods for whatever age your furr-baby is. I personally believe this is important because as your cat / kitten gets older their brain, body, coat, digestive system and so on changes and requires different nutrients. I'm takes into consideration these circumstances and has attentively met the needs for cats of all ages.I will always purchase Iams and I will always be an advocate for this brand as well.I purchased a large bag and it was a great value for my money. I purchased it when my kitten was 3 months old he is now 5 months old and I still have a half a bag to 3/4 of a bag and I leave dry food out at all times.He is an indoor cat and he gets Sheba wet food twice a day.I grew up always leaving out dry food for our pets as doing that at a young age, they learned to only eat when they're hungry, knowing that their food was always going to be there. This stopped them from overeating, gaining harmful weight or begging for human food.Iams is fresh, it is made with healthy, natural ingredients and a plus, it smells good.-Skye

The health quality of this food is phenomenal when you compare labels to other brands. And according to my cats the texture and taste is unbeatable.

I have an adult cat that has always had a hard time keeping her weight up. She's been to the vet a couple times looking for answers but they never could figure out why and they suggested I look for a high calorie kitten food. So I did some research and I found out that this food is one of the highest calorie kitten foods around so I switched my cat food to this.
