Plantonics Savi W740 3-in-1 Convertable Headset

I got the 740 kit about 5 years ago and I was blown away by how good it is. I mostly work from home and I am on calls a lot during the day. This headset has always been dependable and great. I can be the other side of the house from the base and it works perfectly. For a professional headset that gets a lot of use, look no further. Sadly, one of my kids was playing with the headset (while I was away 2 years ago) and broke it. I was able to patch it up, but when the battery started to need to be replaced, instead of getting a new battery, I went for the new headset. For me, I prefer the one ear option, I use the headband, it is light and easy to wear, a plus when calls go on for hours and it integrates with some apps (like Skype Business) automatically. The connectivity to my mobile via bluetooth is very fast, I press a button, it connects and I can make calls. I leave my mobile phone where there is good signal and sit and complete the call at my desk. There is a landline connection ability, but I never use that. I have had these Plantronics headsets for over 5 years and I expect this new set to last another 5 at least. Until I see something better I am sticking with it.

I was looking for a DECT cordless headset to use with my computer connected via USB and this is perfect for that job. The Bluetooth connection to my mobile phone is an added bonus. From the computer I have tried it with Avaya, Skype, Fuze, GoToMeeting and Webex and it has worked perfectly with all of them. Before this I had a desk phone cordless Plantronics headset which I bought the USB lead for but that never worked properly and kept dropping out. No such issue with this one.

It is not obvious what is needed with this. I now need to buy an expensive cable to make it work with my phone fully - otherwise a great product.

I upgraded to the W740 from a CS530 for the additional device connection. Works seamlessly whilst paired to my desk phone and mobile. Ensure you have the correct cables for your desk phone and you will have no problems setting up at all.

Für mich das beste Headset im Büro-Alltag. Das Gerät ist sehr schnell angeschlossen, man verbindet es über USB mit dem PC und Stöpselt das Telefon in den entsprechenden Eingang ein. Danach installiert sich die Software und man kann sein Diktat Programm am PC (bei mir Dragon) einrichten. Über die Auswahltasten kann man dann im Betrieb auswählen, wofür man das Headset benutzen möchte. Bin also während des Diktats jemand anruft, drückt man auf die entsprechende Taste und die Diktierfunktion ist unterbrochen, dafür ist das Gerät dann mit dem Telefon verbunden. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Anforderung: - Gute Qualität bei Diktaten mit Dragon Naturaly Speaking - Möglichkeit, auch zu telefonieren - idealerweise auch mit dem Handy zu koppeln - Schnurlos, damit man während eines Telefonats oder Diktates in der Akte blättern kann - leicht und gut zu tragen Das Gerät erfüllt alle diese Erwartungen. Der einzige Nachteil der mir einfällt ist, dass die Lautstärke nicht ganz so leicht am Kopfhörer einzustellen ist und das ganze am Kopf ein bisschen „wackelig“ sitzt. Andererseits ist das Headset sehr leicht und stört überhaupt nicht. Nach einiger Zeit hat man sich total daran gewöhnt. Würde das Produkt jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann es empfehlen.

No se puede conectar con terminales DECT así que con los fijos solo se tiene la opcion de descolgador. Aun así es una solucion estupenda aunque a mi juicio un poco cara.

Dopo tre settimane di intenso utilizzo, posso affermare che il prodotto risponde perfettamente a tutte le mie attese. E' stato semplice installarlo, ho collegato un telefono fisso ip, il mio pc per l'utilizzo di skype ed il cellulare, non contento ho collegato anche l'ipad. La ricezione in ufficio arriva a circa 20-25 metri di distanza. Il suono è di qualità e chi mi risponde sente bene. Consigliatissimo.

Da ich mal wieder ein neues Headset für mein Handy im Büro brauchte (hoher Verschleiss habe nie das perfekte gefunden) mich mal wieder auf die Suche gemacht und mir die Frage gestellt, ob es ein Headset gibt das alle Telefone auf dem Schreibtisch verwaltet (Normales / Mobil / IMAC). Hatte einfach keine Lust immer das Headset zu wechseln. Natürlich erstmal bei Plantronics geschaut und angerufen da unsere jetzigen Headsets vom Festnetztelefon von Auerswald (Plantronics Hersteller) sind und ich mit den super arbeiten kann. Der freundliche Mitarbeiter bei Plantronics hatte mir dann sofort das W740 empfohlen welches ich Selbstverständlich sofort bestellt habe und heute morgen in meinen Händen hielt. Was soll ich sagen Einrichtung was super einfach. Ok auch weil wir ja schon Headsets von Plantronics hatten und dadurch die Verkabelung und Einstellung komplett übernehmen konnten. Nichtsdestotrotz Plantronics Hub runtergeladen installiert per USB mit der Station verbunden, eingerichtet und mein iPhone X via Bluetooth verbunden. und...... Ich bin glücklich und bereue es, dass ich nicht schon früher danach gesucht habe.

Da ich mit dem Headset schon in einer anderen Firma gearbeitet habe, bin ich extrem enttäuscht. Hier handelt es sich um einen Rückläufer der wohl überarbeitet wurde. Beide bestellten Geräte hatten von der alten Firma noch die Aufkleber drauf. Schon nach einem halben Jahr kann man nicht mehr länger als 2 Gespräche führen schon fängt der Akku an sich zu melden. Absoluter Fehlkauf!
