If you need to power 2 SATA devices from 1 molex cable you should get this. It works as described and from a quality cable brand, Startech. I would have liked some sort of sleeving for the cables as the power connectors are loose and can be a hassle for cable management but at this price point you can't argue the functionality of the cable.

I needed to upgrade my old iMac 2011 hard drive to a SSD. When you remove the old HDD the fan operates at 100% which is annoying but you can use this excellent adapter to stop that. Step 1 is to place your SSD under the optical drive (per iFixIt). Then if you decide to remove your original hard drive (which will cause the iMac HDD fan to operate at 100%), you can plug the empty hard drive slot cable into this adapter. Because to grounds pin 11, it stops the hard drive fan from operating at full power. And Since the slot is empty anyway, it won't matter that you are disabling the HDD temperature sensor. Good luck.

The case will accomodate 2 x 2.5inch laptop hard drives and 1 msata ssd on motherboard. if you choose a cpu less than 90w, then you will not need the 120w mini ITX power supply kit, the case comes with a 90w kit also neater it is made for the case, with the 120w kit, the female power plug will hang out of the case - doesn't bother me though) If space is a constraint and you need a multi purpose, light gaming pc, and need more space for your legs beneath your desk, this is it. This pc setup run really fast, I am very happy.
