It keeps pirates from electronically tapping into your phone, laptop or iPad. I use the smaller one for my keys to keep thieves from using smart devices to steal my car. No signal is transmitted.

The daughter was shocked when I showed her my faraday bags she doubted they worked until she tried mine. Ended up requesting a set for her birthday. We both love them and the price was lot cheaper than others I researched and work Ike the expensive ones or better!
