JOYROOM Bluetooth 6.0 AUX Car Adapter, Dual Mics Noise Cancellation

Paired perfectly to my 2005 kenwood non Bluetooth stereo via iPhone 16 in a 2005 Mini base model. This had no feedback no random drop or disconnect, Simple plug and play. Connected with its own bt name and disconnected when powered down. Highly recommend. Finally I can listen to my music and not radio repetitive noise. Sounds good. Volume control on unit and other options lots of length of cord I should be able to hide most in the dashboard behind the goofy trim in the mini. The light is subtle and not beaming. Has double sided tape to attach the little unit anywhere near the driver and clear for hands free.

This little device has improved the way I listen to music in my car significantly! I use to use an FM radio Bluetooth transmitter but found that the sound quality just wasn't all that great coming through that device. The sound quality coming out of this auxiliary adapter was noticeably better! If your car has an auxiliary port I would highly recommend using this device over a radio transmitter device. I really love how it automatically connects to my phone as soon as I turn the car on. Super easy to use. I've been using it for many months now and its still working great!

This is awesome. I had another solution, again also connecting through aux. That had feedback. And I couldn't turn the stereo volume up that high. This is perfect. I can listen to music in my car again. It connects within seconds as opposed to about a minute that it would take for my phone to pair to the Bluetooth for the car stereo in my mid-2010s Toyota. And for calls, the dual mics are actually pretty good. I'm impressed and I'm in love and I'm so grateful for this product. I cannot sing its praises enough. I can't really switch out my car stereo because it has the backup incorporated into it and it would be a little too expensive to try and get a custom stereo in there. And the controls work pretty well. I have it attached near the steering wheel on the dash and I can just reach out and press play or skip or increase the volume and it's easy peasy. Love this product.

This Bluetooth adapter work pretty good in the Honda Odyssey I drive. The music from my phone comes through loud and clear and a little heavy on the bass. Phone calls are a little bit of a problem. If I make or receive a call I have increase the volume substantial in order to have a conversation. The volume of the person on the other side is too low. When the call ends I have to quickly lower the volume or get blasted by the music. When I turn on the car the Bluetooth adapter connects right away but for reasons unknown the music player app on my phone does not always start. I have check the settings, but still doesn't start 100% of the time. I would recommend this product.

I bought an older car for better gas mileage commuting to work and it did not have a smart radio or anything so I bought this because there was an auxiliary port I am absolutely blown how there is absolutely zero loss and sound and quality. Using the hands-free phone works like it's supposed to I'm absolutely impressed with this item and happy to give it five stars.

Works exactly as I needed it to. Plugs into usb port to power it, plugs into AUX port for audio. If you want to play music over bluetooth with your phone in your car, this is the product for you. Comes with sticky pads to attach to the glove compartment or other spaces. The cords are long enough and the module has buttons for manual song skips or volume adjustment. Definitely recommend!

I owned a different brand bluetooth to 3.5mm device for about 2 1/2 years before a bad cable plugged into it shot the power supply. I mention this as reference to my rating on sound quality. The one I owned previously lacked volume compare to radio or in dash CD player but sound quality was decent. This device. Pros: Price. I bought it becuase it was less than half cost of the one I previously owned. If I decide I dislike too much, my wallet won't be dinged too bad to replace it. Set up. As simple as can be. Plug in power. Plug 3.5 mm cord in aux input of car stereo. Phone automatically found the decide so I simply had to ask it to connect. Small control unit is easy to mount on dah and not be to obtrusive. Neutral. Does not have it's own power supply so you need a 12v socket to USB power adapter. I rate this as neutral becuase I already had an extra. Would be a con if you had to go buy one. it is cheap so I won't say it is not worth the price. Cons: streaming music sound quality. It transmits at an even lower volume than my previous device. Have to have in dash stereo volume much higher than if using radio or cd for music When I first hooked it up, I thought the bass was "boomy" in a not good way. I didn't want to judge until I used it some. Have 3-4 hours play time on now. Sound quality is just lower. Highs, and mids are more muted. I don't know if the base is actually "boomy" or if it is becuase the rest of the sound spectrum is muted or clipped. It has phone feature but I haven't used it for phone conversations and probably won't. not my reason for purchase.

I have an old car without bluetooth built-in, and when my previous bluetooth audio adaptor died, I went shopping for a new one. I'm very glad I found this JOYROOM device, as it addresses almost every shortcoming of my previous one, at least in terms of using in the car. - Pros: The device has no batteries, and is only powered by USB. This mean, as long as it's plugged into a USB port on in your car as intended, the device will turn off when the engine turns off. My previous adaptor had an internal battery, which meant that I had to manually turn off the power on the adaptor as I got off the car, or else my phone would just keep streaming audio to it. Also, to conserve the battery, the adaptor would go into power-save mode, and I had to cycle the power on it manually to make it come alive again. Batteries can be nice in some uses but not in the car, and the JOYROOM has none of these annoyances. - Pros: Reliable bluetooth connections, I've had a 100% connection rate over the last few weeks of use. I'm guessing that the latest bluetooth 5.3 version helps. - Meh: Multi-device support. This isn't documented anywhere, but you CAN connect multiple devices with this device. Here's how I did it: 1) Pair your first phone. The JOYROOM should come out of the box in pairing mode, but if not, press the + and - buttons simultaneously for 5 sec to get it into pairing mode. 2) Once the first phone is fully paired and working, leave the first phone alone, put the JOYROOM in pairing mode again, and this time connect the second phone like you did the first one. 3) After the second phone is paired, completely turn off the device, and upon reboot you should have both phones auto-connect to the JOYROOM. Multi-device connections is very important for me, and I almost returned this device when it first seemed like it wasn't going to work. I'm taking one star off because the feature is not really documented, and although it's been working 100% so far, I worry that one day it might not... I also don't know if I can connect more than 2 devices, as I haven't tried... - FYI: The implementation of the multi-device bluetooth is such that the devices hand off the connection to each other as needed. For example, when music is playing out of one phone, while the other phone is providing map directions, the music will stop playing when the voice map directions come on, then go back to the music. The hand-off is a little laggy, with a 2~3 sec pause each time it happens, so it does suck the life out of listening to music with the constant pauses. I dunno if there's a way to implement multi-device connections with audio coming through simultaneously instead of handing off? What we do in cases described above is to turn off the voice directions in maps... - Meh: A relatively minor quibble, but my JOYROOM had double-sided tape already applied on the back side of the body, with a spare in the box, whereas I would have preferred no tape on the body and 2 double-sided tape pieces in the box. - Mehs: No audio out of the USB so the USB is just for power, but the audio quality out of the aux jack has been satisfactory so not a real complaint. As an iPhone user, I wonder if it would make a difference if the JOYROOM supported the AAC bluetooth codec, but again not really complaining since my car is so noisy that I probably can't hear the difference anyway. All in all, once I figured out how to connect multiple devices to it, the JOYROOM has been almost perfect for my needs in the car, with 100% reliable connections so far. I'll update my review if I run into any problems, but so far so good!

The build quality is solid and better than most alternatives, but the main issue is the streaming quality, which is relatively poor compared to other options.

A great bluetooth receiver for the older car with a mini stereo input jack for connecting your cell phone. In my 2009 Lexus this works really well for being able to hear iPhone podcasts and music via my build in car stereo. Clear and reliable sound. The microphones, (apparently 2 mics) located on face of the receiver works very well, I tested several competitive devices and this one was the clearest and best out of the bunch for phone conversations.
