What parts are wooden and what parts are plastic ?

The container is wooden. All the ice cream tops are wooden. The tongs and tub are plastic. Not sure about the 2 cones. It was a gift for my grandson so I don't have it to hand. It is well worth buying though.

What's the difference between the scoop and serve set and the ice cream counter, they both look the same but have a different price?

I thought they were different as scoop and serve is just a few of the items in the counter set but the counter set has many more items and is all in a handy box which is the counter. Purchased for my grand daughter and she absolutely loves it! I would go with the counter set every time and it is absolutely worth the price. Hope this helps

How big are these pieces?

I bought one set each for my grandson and granddaughter for their second birthday who loved playing with them. The pieces were a good, chunky and safe size for two year olds to play with. My youngest grandson has loved playing with it too since he was around 12 months old and found he could fit the pieces together and taken them apart. The only concern we had with him at that age was that the spoon was a bit small so we put that out of reach.
