Great re-skin of a Unicron Trilogy classic.
This is a re-skin/re-print of an older mold from the Unicron trilogy. I haven't opened this for that reason, but I have opened the originals years ago and can vouch for the quality of this. It is well made, the transformation/add ons are outstanding, and the new packaging on this version is top notch with beautiful artwork. Worthy addition to my collection.

Great figure, contender for best of the legacy line
A hefty figure that scales excellently with his rival figure Legacy Megatron/Galvatron, with transformations that aren’t very touchy or fragile to do. The super mode is amazing for including more articulation than any kind of “combiner” style transformer with a well integrated waist swivel and very few distracting “cavities.” The base form is also leagues above the original toy in terms of looks and function with a splitting skirt for easy leg movement, although it does not have a waist due to the super mode arms making up the chest. My only issue was that one of the truck bumper shoulder pieces does like to pop off due to a really tight joint that makes me push more on the piece than on the lever. Luckily it’s an easy to attach smaller piece and not something critical. Everything else fits together more solidly than it looks thanks to a lot of ratchet joints. Most fun I’ve had posing any kind of combined prime.

This is awesome
Thins thing is SO good, the core robot is spot on, plastic quality is amazing, and the trailer is once again, a home run. The price is 100% worth it, very playable as it has 3 different modes and is very cartoon accurate with the colors and size. And to top it all off, i love how it goes from a voyager class to a commander. Buy it while you still can!

That's Just Prime
This is a fantastic figure depicting one of the coolest non-G1 iterations of Optimus Prime. As with many figures, there are always upgrade kits to improve it, but the figure as a standalone piece is beautiful. The only downside is that the figure does not come with a version of his minicon, Sparkplug. Here's hoping that we eventually get an Overload and Jetfire to pair him with.

Definely a WIN for this Hasbro release
I really think this is one of the best releases from 2023, I got for a good price with a 3rd party seller, 77 bucks, still expensive toy but the quality is good, (if you think about the Hasbro last years QC, this is a 9 of 10) nice engineering, great upgrade from the 2000s 1st release

The best toy re-imagined from the Unicron Trilogy by far...
Hasbro has made a few attempts to re-imagine Unicron Trilogy character designs. Most have been OK, with some being just a huge pass. This Armada Optimus Prime is where they have redeemed themselves. The truck robot is a near perfect figure and a perfect representation of his cartoon self. The super mode, OMG, the super mode... This thing outshines the original toy easily. The original toy's super mode had shoulder, elbow and head movement, but that was all. This toy has all of the articulation that you would expect from a modern well-made Transformer (only wish they had incorporated the same hand features that were engineered for Generations War for Cybertron Commander Jetfire).Whether you are a child that grew up with the Unicron Trilogy and want to rediscover your childhood, or you are just a huge Transformers fan in general; this is one figure that will not disappoint.

Greatest update to a great version of the character.
This is the greatest update version of Armada Optimus Prime that is not 3rd party figure. The OG version might be bigger in Supermode but it was basically just a brick that does not move. The modern version has more articulation both in regular mode and Supermode, which is made by combining the trailer, and they are perfect enough. The shoulder articulation of limited like in SS86 Hot Rod and Legacy Tarn. I wished the hands had more space but there is plastic underneath due to the arms covering it but there enough space for the really big Ion Cannon for Optimus Prime. There is no waist articulation for Optimus Prime in regular mode but only in Supermode. I wished the eyes of Supermode were red like the cartoon and not yellow. I liked how the Mini-con symbols are underneath and in the shoulder pads. I can put the modern Mini-cons molds like Jolt and Shattered Glass Whisper, the modern update for the possible Mini-con Windsheer, on the shoulder pads of Supermode. I wished there was more finger articulation in Supermode but this is good enough. Ankle articulation in both forms. I really hope more Armada updates come soon. This is greatest update to Armada Optimus Prime. I wished the current price was so high of over $100, it was decent enough for $90. Hope everyone enjoys this.

Surprisingly good and worth the price
Ended up getting him not to long ago, and he's become one of my favorite commander class toysWhile its lacking a waist swivel in core robot mode, it well makes up for the overall impressive combined modeThe figure is overall a fun experience to mess with, and is absolutely worth paying MSRP for it it...
