Best Susan Bates crochet hook made.
This line of hooks is my favorite! They fit my small hands well and are sturdy, light weight, and comfortable to use for long stretches of crocheting. The metal is smooth and glides across yarn efficiently. I also appreciate the sharpness of the tip of the hook as it comes in handy when a stitch is a bit tight to get through without splitting the yarn.

Love it, my new favorite hook
The handle is so comfortable. The length of the hook is just perfect. For me, this hook makes my work faster and more efficient. I'm going to get more hooks in other sizes. Definitely worth the low price.

Best ever!
This INLINE is my new favorite, best ever. I bought the etimo tulip and its a good hook. I cant get used to the tapered hook on it though. Yarn sliding off, not catching. Ive always used the inline and this susan bates in an inch longer up at the metal hook side. Has the comfort grip...love that.

My new go to crochet hook โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
Crochet Artists always have a hook shape preference. I always go with Susan Bates design. Once I tried this particular design, I purchased it in every size & have multiples of my most used. Itโs not as large as the bamboo handle, which I also liked, but itโs slightly larger than the bare handle. It feels right in my hand when Iโm working on projects. As always, the company makes the tool very affordable so it can fit into any budget which is very important in these times. Iโd love to see this handle on their smaller steel hooks. Try one, you wonโt be sorry.

Best hooks ever!
I love the hooks. I only purchase Susan Bates hooks and was really pleased when these came out. I was having to buy cushions for my hooks. The soft touch makes crocheting easier.

Lightweight and comfortable
I'm very happy with this one, now I want a whole set. It's lightweight. The metal hook glides easy through the yarn. I have arthritis and the grip part of the handle keeps me from losing grip and dropping it.

Great hook!
I'm an avid crocheter and I've recently begun to prefer the in-line hooks versus the tapered head. My biggest complaint is that the in-line hooks are shorter than others and it hits my palm in an uncomfortable manner. I did some searching and came across this hook and I'm pleased as punch. It's long which fits my hand more comfortably and it helps with my grip, too, since I suffer from arthritis. I'll be purchasing other hook sizes in this style!

Completes a set of different sizes
Good except for way too sharp edges of hooks -just needs a bit of gentle filing.

Short neck makes sloppy stitches.
The hook as a slightly more pointed head, which makes pushing through stitches easier but the real difference is in the inner mouth of the hook. Most are quite rounded but this one is sharper and crisper edges to it and not as wide open. I love the head of this hook. The hook is a bit thinner than many ergonomic hooks but still has a comfortable rubber sleeve over it. The yarn doesn't slip off the hook as much. I can push through single crochet stiches easier and its not splitting through the yarn as much which I like. BUT - there's a deal breaker. The neck of the hook is short, so if your doing treble crochets the top loop pushes over the flared part of the hook, the section where the size of hook is normally stamped. This makes that last loop loose and it looks sloppy. So I love the head of this hook but hate the short neck (the haft?) The picture doesn't show it so buyer beware. This might hook might work for someone with a cramped crochet style or super tight tension but its not for me and I wont use it. I wish I could put the head of this hook on my regular ergonomic hooks.
