This thing is awesome. An absolute must for anyone wanting to swim for exercise, and anything else I suppose. This solves the problem I had coordinating breaths with strokes (turning head to the side). With this I never have to lift my head to breathe. Makes my swimming workout much more enjoyable and subsequently I swim longer. I am amazed that water doesn't enter into the tubes when submerging for brief periods. If you do flip turns get the appropriate attachments. I always wonder about reviews I read and I will tell you this review is legit. I paid full price for this and would do so again.

First of all the customer service is outstanding, I briefly told the agent named Brad that I received the vents that first came with the product that are harder to breathe with, he said he would send me the new easy vent no problem. I am active duty overseas so it's not always easy dealing with customer service willing to do that for you.what I really like about the powerbreather is the ability to continuously do lap after lap without trying to get a good breathing repetition down. You just put it on and go for as long as you can stand. It's very comfortable when you get used to it you barely know it's even on your head.If you are not sure if you want to get this product rest assured you can try it out and if you don't like it I'm sure they will be no problem to send it back, so what do you have to lose? I will be a powerbreather customer for life!**UPDATE** Received the easier breathing attachment in about a week! First time in the water with the easier to breath piece I was blown away, now I can do endless swimming without taking breath or even struggle for air. Thank you so much for the great customer service!

I had high hopes for this, as I'm sensitive to CO2 and was looking forward to breathing fresh air with every breath. Unfortunately, exhaling is the problem with design. Once your in the water, you're exhaling through a valve under water pressure. My lungs still feel terrible the day after swimming with this. The design could be significantly improved by adding additional tubes to vent back to atmosphere like a standard snorkel. Also, it is very hard to remove quickly, since your have to turn the dial on the head band to loosen. Combined with the difficulty of exhaling (very hard to exhale fast enough against water pressure in time to take next breath), it feels like a very dangerous combination. Absolutely do NOT recommend

The silicone diaphragm purge valve failed {ripped}after 10 months of occasional use. The company needs to include a replacement valve with each new mask it sells. This would probably cost them less than a dime to include it. Mask works extremely well and I would rate 5 stars if company could modify valve or at least include a replacement. Replacement of valve would be easy, as cover is easily removed with a small screwdriver. Impossible to use mask without functioning valve as mouthpiece floods with water.

I am an advanced swimmer and I have alot of swimming gear and all kinds of different snorkels. This is the best one for breathing and comfort. The only thing I haven't mastered yet is doing flip turns with it. I am not able to blow enough air out while flipping with the double tube. I can do flip turns with all my other snorkels. I hope I will figure it out and I will like it even more. Not sure why it costs so much. But it does seem like pretty good quality. Really seems to open up your lungs to begun your workout with. I do have to wear my Finis Duo on back of my head as they do not fit with this on. If anyone is able to flip turn with these, please let me know!

I was originally super excited about this snorkel. However, it was easy without the power section on, but water will get in. With the power attachments, no water gets in, but it is REALLY difficult to breathe through to the point that I had to stop using it which means no laps for me this summer. My personal opinion - this is not good for beginning lap swimmers. One of the good things about it is not getting the indentation on your forehead. Loved that feature.

I waited a month to review because I wanted to be sure there were no issues. This snorkel is a game changer. It is superior to a traditional snorkel as it recycles air rather than “breathing through a straw” and rebreathing CO2. May or may not be a big deal, but it is subjectively to me. The fit and the “bridle” mechanism to wear is comfortable and vastly improved over the traditional snorkel, even in the ocean the fit is great and the ability to clear is excellent. I have been primarily using it for lap swimming training, it is great. We live in Maui and when I’m swimming, people from all over are curious about it and after explanation and trying It on they are sold. Like the Title says. This is a Game Changer and a lot of fun. It has made my swim workout more enjoyable.

i enjoy more swim and don’t drink pool water any more. It’s a bit pricey but i enjoy every moment when using it

Been swimming for years this is just great, now I don’t use it anymore but it did help to build my breathing skill on water love it ❤️

Ho preso questo respiratore per il nuoto in acque libere al mare in estate per avere la testa sempre immersa solo ed esclusivamente per schivare le meduse. All'inizio avrei voluto immediatamente fare il reso, mi sembrava di non riuscire ad abituarmi, mi induceva a fare dei gran respiri, poi facendo qualche uscita e provando a spingere forte ho capito che non è adatto allo snorkeling e al relax in generale ma a nuotare, per me è diventato indispensabile e come se mi invitasse a spingere più forte, devo ammettere che è un bellissimo feeling. E' comodissimo, non ho avuto problemi di entrata di acqua anche dopo due ore di nuoto. Per me è promosso ma capisco che può risultare difficile adattarsi a questo sistema di respirazione.

Esta muy bien para entrenamiento, estimula y exige mayor capacidad pulmonar. Esta muy bien recomendable para nadadores.
