They can be used as the 1st string, the high E, on an acoustic guitar. Or the 2nd (B) string on electric guitar.

Hi, these strings would be ideal replacement "B" 2nd string on an electric guitar. While they would work as a replacement 2nd string on an acoustic guitar, they might be a little on the light side because acoustic 2nds are normally .013 or .014's gauge.
