A year in this fountain still works great a s provides a lovely ambience! Needs to be in bright sun to flow, but not unexpected. I love it!

They thought about everything included is a USB cable and a power block to connect to a regular outlet so the fountain can operate 24/7 and the solar power means that you don't need to worry about running any electricity during the day.The fountain is easy to install. The build quality it is also impressive, very durable materials and is a beautiful addition to any outdoor living space. So pretty I love it!!The product is well-designed, durable, and easy to install. It is also highly functional, with the solar-powered bird bath fountain and lights, making it an excellent value for money.

I purchased this to use in a front yard birdbath. As I have no outside electrical outlets, this seemed perfect to use with the included clamp on solar panel. Yeah, this does not work AT ALL on just the solar panel. Not even a trickle or a tiny bump of power, absolutely nothing. From reading other reviews, this seems to be the ongoing problem. Doesn't work unless you use both the solar and the electric hook up. Save your money. This is solar junk. On another point, the assembled fountain is so light, it will turn over with the slightest breeze. I had to place decorative stones in the lower tier just to made it somewhat stable. I was mugged without a weapon on this purchase. I found a much better option on Amazon for less money.

I bought this fountain for the water sounds, the colorful display I could enjoy on my patio & to provide water for insects & birds coming to my flower garden. It assembled easily w/pictorial directions I found simple. I like that it is dual-powered by electricity & solar charging. It has a large charge plate & I've unplugged the electric plug so it's operating completely on solar continuously. This may change when fall sunshine decreases but that's ok w/me. The electric usage is pennies I'm almost sure. I placed it in my bird bath. I'm still undecided if I want to leave it there as I don't see the birds bathing in the space around the fountain, though bees are frequent sippers. Wondering if it might be scary for the birds or just that it's a difference they don't like? Water temps in this heat blasted summer may be at fault as well. I took a star away for two reasons: 1) the plastic material is kind of flimsy & I wonder if it would survive blowing over in a wind. (I'll take measures to protect it in higher winds) 2) the LED lights are multi-colored but don't add any color to the unit. In the dark, it appears a pleasant blue. I got the impression the lights would be more visible but they can only be seen from near the unit, not from farther away. Still, the sky blue color is pretty at night w/outside lights low/off so I can't say it's a deal breaker. And I think the multi-colors look kind of cheap, but since it's not highly visible, I won't let it bother me. If the seller had specified that the lights don't color the unit, I wouldn't have deducted a star. Prefer good detailed descriptions of items I buy.

Easy to put together, but first problem was that one of the plastic poles that goes in between layers wouldn't go all the way in. After removing a small plastic nfg. error piece (left over plastic) from inside the ring, I was able to fit the piece together. After assembly, make sure to press down lightly from the top to ensure all pieces line up and fit securely in place. I put outside and set up the solar panel, and put in water and nothing happened. I plugged in the electricity, and the unit started bubbling water through the center plastic, as it should. Then, I cut off the electricity to see if the unit would now work with just solar, and it did. So, I figured it just needed a little "kick-start" with the power. The instructions do advise that the unit doesn't store any power, so the lights will only come on when plugged in to electricity. So, at night, the unit worked beautifully plugged in - with both the fountain water flowing, and the lights working. The next day, I set it up with just solar again, and just the lights came on! No water would flow. This confused me, as the instructions said the lights would only work with electricity. So, I unplugged and plugged the unit in several times - both with power and with solar - and only the lights worked - no water flowing. This is only my 3rd day of owning, so I'm thinking of returning. My dilemma is that I really like this fountain - it is so pretty in the day time, and especially pretty at night. I would like to think it is just my unit that is defective, but other reviewers have had some of my same problems. I think I will try a return and re-purchase - to give the fountain one more chance. Hopefully the new one will work correctly/as advertised!

Unstable, quit working in 1 week. Very pretty but not worth it for me.

The media could not be loaded.  This fountain is beautiful and unique. It allows me to turn any area of water into an active fountain. I am able to do it anywhere as no batteries or electrical outlets are needed. It can be plugged into an outlet as it does include an extra long cord, but conveniently it is powered by the sun. I have it placed in a bird bath and this fountain really spruces it up. It is so enjoyable to listen to. It is calming and relaxing. Assembly is super easy. I have my panel set up in a position that is best for sunlight during the day. It charges up and has been nonstop since being powered.

I wanted a little fountain that would attract Hummingbirds and wouldn't send the water flying out of the bowl. My Hummingbird checked it out right away but I haven't seen him near it since though a few other birds came by for a drink. I like that it has electric and solar. I unplug it during the sunny part of the day and it works well. Eventually I have to add water but it lasts a day or more. It lights up when plugged in after dark.

As above. Debating whether to send it back or not. The only thing going for it is it can be either solar or electric. Definitely needs to have a large basin or deep birdbath as an adjunct.I decided to keep it though I still consider it overpriced. Initially I intended to use it in the wooden planter depicted but, in spite of the other photos, it looks cheap though it does function as stated. Not something I’d use as an attractive addition to my yard or entry patios but one that I Macgyvered into a functioning bird bath for smaller birds, hidden away.
