I've been using the Sureflap for years, but had to replace it recently because my cat managed to wear it out, so I replaced with the new model. So, I added this as I'm making my home into a smart home. With the new cat flap this now lets me know when my cat is in or out, provided she uses the cat flap. But more importantly, this also sends a message to my phone when the batteries are running low. Which is perfect as I've started using Lithium rechargeable batteries, so I now know without having to look when the batteries need recharging. I've turned off the notifications when my cat come it and out, as she can set my phone off quiet a lot when she's being a madam.

I’ve had the Pet Door Connect for years now and absolutely love it. Sadly, the hub had been on its way out for a while, and it finally gave up the ghost on a Saturday morning. I ordered this new hub and it arrived by Sunday morning — super fast! I was a bit worried about setting it up and deleting the old hub, as I’m not very tech-savvy, but it was so easy. I had it up and running again within minutes. Very happy :)

I love the sure pet connect!! It has relieved all my pet worries and stress. I have two cats one epically greedy the other highly picky and a bit shy. My greedy cat scoffs his entire bowl in one go and my shy cat likes to graze and wasn’t able to until now! The hub allows you to have the sure pet connected devices which are wonderful. I bought the connect feeder and it’s changed my skinny underfed cat into a more happy confident full of life little chap. He now eats whenever he wants day or night and doesn’t get his food stolen. I can reset the scales and track his intake and feeding patterns in my app. Brilliant! Best thing I’ve bought them! Little expensive but it’s 100% worth the cost!

Consistently fails to connect then connects and fails again It is not a wifi issue for the hub connecting to the Net, it just keeps dropping wired or unwired. Therefore renders the smart app useless and no idea if cats in or out. Badly designed and unreliable. Would give zero stars if possible.

After all the average reviews of the app and hub, it actually worked pretty well after a few minor set up glitches - mainly due to lack of detail or info in the set up manual. Surprisingly it was the door that didn’t work properly despite help from customer services. If you don’t mind the potential for some glitches and a nitnof hassle I would give this a go, when it worked it worked well.

Came with a deal to make it very price competitive. Easy to install and worked out of the box. Perfect!

Awesome.. allows you to connect to some many Sure Pet items to monitor your pets. You can also connect households so if you are cat sitting or someone looking after your pets, then this allows you to connect to that household to monitor the pets. Pricey but worth it. UPDATE: still loving this 2 years on but the surepet app is RUBBISH has little to no support getting an answer out of them. It looks nice and the basic features are good but should anything need updating or removing.. nope! Awful

Super Ergänzung zur Katzenklappe SureFlap Connect! Die Katzenklappe hatte ich im Frühjahr 2017 bei Amazon gekauft, auf den Hub musst ich leider bis Anfang November 2017 warten. Aber nun ist das Ensemble komplett :-) Dank dieses Gadgets sehe ich nun immer, wann unsere Katze im Haus ist und wann sie tagsüber und nachts rausgeht und wieder reinkommt. Wenn man das möchte, bekommt man eine Push Nachricht aufs Handy, wenn die Katze reinkommt oder rausgeht. Nette Spielerei. Lässt sich aber auch abschalten. Es gibt sogar eine einfache Statistik, wie lange die Katze täglich unterwegs war. Ist zwar ein kleines bisschen Spielerei. Aber ich finde es erstaunlich und interessant, wie oft und wie lange unsere Katze nachts draußen ist und welchem Rhythmus sie hat. Sicherlich gehöre ich nicht zu den Helikoptereltern. Aber ich finde es trotzdem beruhigend, wenn ich unsere Katze zuhause weiß und ich ihren normalen Rhythmus sehe, auch wenn ich mal nicht daheim bin. Unsere Katzenklappe ist im Keller eingebaut und für mich auf Grund der Einbausituation nur umständlich zu erreichen und zu bedienen. Daher ist es super, dass man mit dem Hub und der Handyapp nun die Klappe sowohl ver- und entriegeln kann. Außerdem sieht man in der App den Ladezustand der Batterien in der Klappe. So hat man das immer im Blick und man läuft nicht Gefahr, dass man leere Batterien und die deshalb verschlossene Klappe nicht erkennt! Das war für mich sogar das wichtigste Argument, dass ich so immer die ordnungsgemäße Funktion der Klappe im Blick habe, ohne dass ich darauf warten müsste, das die Katze sich zufällig bequemt zu erscheinen, wenn ich gerade an der Klappe stehe! Die Installation und Inbetriebnahme ist sehr einfach und funktioniert intuitiv! Überrascht war ich jetzt von der Empfindlichkeit der RFID Antenne in der Katzenklappe: ich sah nun in der App, dass bei der Installation mehrere Chip-IDs von der Klappe erfasst waren, obwohl wir doch nur eine Katze haben. Erklärung: die beiden unbekannten IDs gehörten zu meinem Personalausweis und zu meiner Fahrkarte, die ich bei der Installation beide in der Brieftasche hatte die während des aktivierten Programmiermodus nahe an der Klappe war. (Die IDs kann man aber auch einzeln entfernen!!) Die Reichweite des Hub ist viel besser, als ich dachte, Wände zwischen Hub und Katzenklappen sind kein Problem, bei uns liegen zwei Kellerwände dazwischen bei einer Entfernung von ca. 9 Meter! Der Hub benötigt nämlich den Anschluss an den normalen Netzwerkrouter mittels Netzwerkkabel und das haben wir nicht im Keller. Da hatte ich vorher nämlich Sorge gehabt, dass es nicht funktionieren würde. Klappt aber einwandfrei!! Insgesamt ein recht gut gelungenes Produkt! Der Preis ist okay, man gibt ja sonst auch Geld für sinnlose Dinge aus, da kann man also ruhig auch ml in etwas praktisches investieren!

Större delen av gångerna så registrerar den inte och skickar vidare att katterna har gått ut genom luckan ELLER in. Luckan som är separat produkt funkar som den skall men detta navet har vi inte mycket nytta av. Bara att programmera tillåten in och utgångs schema men det var 5 sekunders jobb och eftersom den inte uppfattar att katterna har passerat så är den produkten helt värdelös.
