We have slugs climbing up our back door** A: No. It is used to be absbed by plants and rather ineffectively, stops slugs eating the plant. Put slug pellets on the ground round the door. **Q: what are the ingredients in this product please. Can it be used in an organic garden** A: I believe the main active ingredient is Calcium Chloride, which is a harmless salt, but apparently deters slugs & snails. There is also a wetting agent (detergent). **Q: can you use this on edible veg crops** A: It says on the bottle it is child and pet friendly and can be used on edible crops. The one proviso I would add it washes off in the rain when pests are most active. **Q: Can it be used on outside walls?** A: Its a foliar application to be used against expected damage to any growing plant (edible or flowering).
