I didn’t expect it to be comfortable for me but I bought it so my wife would be more comfortable for when she tags along maybe 2-3 times a year. I didn’t see any other reason why I would spend close to $1,000 for so little use.I was quite surprised how both of us were comfortable. Now if we would do long trips i would have bought a higher end seat!

Review Update: I’ve now put over 13k on this seat and it is the most comfy seat I’ve ever ridden on. That’s over 30 years worth of riding. I can do 600+ mile days without any discomfort at all. I only wish they made one for my ‘24 Street Glide. My wife likes the rear pillion seat as it has added a higher level of padding and width compared to the OEM seat. This is a no brainer purchase.Original review: I purchased this seat for my pillion rider as the OEM seat was perfect for me. The OEM seat in the back was a bit narrow and not very comfortable for her on rides over 150 miles. This seat is not nearly as comfy for me, but is much better for her. It’ll likely only be on when she plans on heading out with me.The box arrived at the earlier part of the time window given and the seat was packaged nicely. It was wrapped in a plastic ‘bag’ and had foam all around. There was also a ziplock bag inside with install instructions for the bike. It didn’t really talk about how to get the rear bracket installed, which was also in the bag. Pretty easy to figure out through. There are two two pieces of plastic that seat in the bracket holes and it was a bit of a chore to slide the whole thing together. One of the tabs on our was out of shape and would not seat in the hole. It’s still fine as I am confident the whole set up will work fine.The seat itself sits me about 1-2” higher than the OEM seat and this one is on the firmer side. Maybe over time it’ll break down and soften a bit. It is also just a bit wider in the front of the seat which affects how you put your legs down when stopped. The pillion portion is just as firm, but wider than the OEM, giving her quite a bit more comfort. I’ll be interested to see how the vinyl holds up over time as well. Fit and finish are good and I don’t see any missed spots where the staples hold everything together.Overall I would say that for under $100 this is worth the experiment to gain some comfort for my wife. If comfort is good for both of us on a long ride (200+ miles), I would up the rating to 4 stars.Update: I did a 460 miles ride today and this seat held its own and is possibly the most comfortable seat I’ve ever owned. I could have easily put on another 500 with no issue. I do want to reiterate that this seat will raise you up from the OEM seat height at least a couple inches. Not a problem for me, but might be for some. Very good seat though, and we’ll worth trying out.

I work at a Harley Dealership and was Told about this seat from a Customer, to buy the Harley Equivalent seat (Hammock) you would spend over $600.00, I am impressed with the look , comfort and fit. and PRICE.I have the stock seat , an older CVO seat and a Saddleman seat for my 17 Road Glide., I read the comments and made sure to check the staples and all were good, the seat bracket was also included.This Seat is Unbelievable valueMy only Complaint was the seat was placed up on the front fence out on the street, for any one to pick up, Delivery man could have placed it in a better location.

Look up a Harley seat model called the Hammock. Read all about it. Look how much it costs. This one does all of that for a fraction of the price. My husband and I absolutely love this seat. We've logged over 3k on it so far and it's been amazing. The first time you hit a expansion joint you'll see. And way less fatigue after riding with no sore bottom
