Naturally Med Corner Spoon, Olive Wood, Brown, 30 cm

I bought this as a replacement for a cheap corner spoon that broke.Its slightly bigger than I thought it would be (based on the old spoon) but is very high quality and a pleasure to use. The olive wood is lovely, has a great feel to it and a very nice colour and pattern. After about 6 months of use it cleans up well and doesn't seem to stain at all.UPDATEWe've been using this great spoon for just over 4 months now and its still like new. Cheaper wooden spatulas seem to stain very easily when cooking tomato heavy dishes such as pasta sauce, or the smell of a curry can become trapped in the wood grain. This spoon doesn't have these problems, it is still lovely to use, I highly recommend it. I've updated my rating from 4 to 5 stars, I'll be looking for more olive wood utensils in the future.

Very well made, shape size thicknesses and Sturdiness

Very sturdy spoon with a long handle which I may cut down. Although the bowl of the spoon is more or less the same size and shape as my old beech spoon it is considerably heavier. Not sure yet if that is a good or bad thing for me. Olive wood must be a denser wood than beech so it feels not scratchy but harder on my pans. It lost its colour with the first wash but looks ok. I’ll probably go back to a beech one in the future but only because of the weight.

This is a high quality item. It looks especially good after you oil it. Unfortunately, after every use the wood immediately goes dull and you have to oil it again. It also cannot really work as a spoon, more like a spatula but of course it does not bend so you can only mix things with it but scraping the walls of the pan is not going to achieve much. All in all it is a very pretty thing to have in the kitchen but it is not going to replace my silicone tools.

This is my all time favourite cooking spoon, it's great to hold and is excellent at being a spoon and a spatula. I've had it now for 8 years and it is still in great condition and it is used every day! Makes a lovely present too.

This had a notch in the shoulder where the machinery had jumped, but the worst thing was there was wood filler used on the spoon. That cannot be safe for cooking. It all fell out after I washed it, but who puts wood filler onto an item used for cooking?

Love the colour, the ergonomic design is perfect for a large variety of hand shapes and sizes; this item is well made and of good quality wood especially given the price.

I was disappointed with these. I realise that handmade items are always individual but the difference in size and shape of the two I bought was huge. I tried them both but the large one is pretty much unusable for me. It is very heavy and the bowl and corner edge are much too thick. The smaller of the two is thinner and lighter but strangely the corner is on the opposite side to the other spoon. Are there left and right handed versions? I think these are probably something best bought in a shop where you can see and feel if it's right for you.

These are lovely olive wood utensils, I bought this spoon to add to several others I purchased a decade ago and am still using. Just reconditioned my others this last weekend, including some light hand sanding because I haven’t cared for them as well as I should have. They cleaned up very nicely and I’ve oiled them all including the new tool and waxed/buffed them for use. If you properly care for these wood tools they will last your lifetime, I’m sure. Very nice quality for the price!

Sarebbe un bellissimo mestolo se non fosse per il fatto che dopo un solo utilizzo e lavaggio il colore del legno si è sbiadito enormemente. Lascio foto del prima e dopo.

I love this spoon so much. I love natural wood as it became almost rare in our lives. Olive wood is hard and looks wonderful in a rustic way. I also like the design of this spoon that works with most of the pots and bowls, round or flat bottom. I washed it and after drying I applied some olive oil. The wood looked happy by my treatment-olive oil to olive wood. I am sure it will last a lifetime if treated properly.

Ein sehr guter Pfannenwender/Kochlöffel. Sehr weiches, angenehmes Olivenholz. Ich kann Ihn wirklich weiterempfehlen.Der Preis ist auch sehr gut, wenn man die Qualität beachtet.

Jolie spatule, très décorative mais au final je me sers plus souvent de la spatule en bois ordinaire achetée 1€50 au supermarché du coin.
