Very simple, but works so well. I have three dogs, one of which sheds consistently - Austrailian shepherd - This rake pulls up so much hair from the carpet. I used it on my rugs and it does a fantastic job pulling hair that the vacuum couldn't grab. Lightweight and easy to use. Great price and quality for such a simple tool.

Recently I visited my son who has two cats---one which sheds A LOT. He has a loft apartment and the cats roam freely throughout both levels. I originally got the rake to get rid of the cat hair that was all over one of his loveseats, because I hated looking at it and refused to sit on it. I had tried removing the cat hair with just the vacuum cleaner hose/brush, but it just would not come off. So, I used this carpet rake and went over the entire loveseat. It loosened up every bit of the cat hair so that I was able to easily remove it. Plus, it didn't damage the loveseat fabric at all. Then, even though I had already vacuumed the carpet, I decided to go over it with the carpet rake just to see if I could bring any more cat fur up. Oh my goodness! Even after vacuuming, this carpet rake brought up gobs of cat hair out of the carpet. I raked the fur into small piles and then simply picked it up and threw it away. Then I did a refresh vacuuming afterwards. My son was stunned at how much cat hair came out of the carpet, even though he vacuums it regularly. Bonus: this carpet rake also helps loosen up any matting in the carpet and gives it a freshened up look. It also helps loosen up and bring up any debris that has worked its way deep into the carpet. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this carpet rake to anyone who has cats or dogs that shed their fur. You will be amazed at the amount of fur and debris this rake will loosen up out of your carpet.

Works great!!! Could of had a longer handler and the rubber top keeps popping off. Other than that works great

I am OBSESSED. I have two long haired cats and vacuuming everyday is tricky; the hair was always getting caught in the vacuum. After purchasing this pet hair remover tool, it has changed my life! I use this tool first to scrape the hair, and then I vacuum my carpet as normal after. It allows for the vacuum to not have to work so hard getting all the hair. This tool pulls up so much hair, it’s crazy!! It’s very easy to use and feels durable and strong. I did use it on my couch and it pulled up some of the fibers so just be mindful of what fabrics you are using it on.

Oh yeah!!! Better than I could ever imagine! I’ve been using a small plastic garden rake over the last few years and was satisfied with it until I jumped in and purchased this tool. It works SOOO well on all of my carpets! We have a mixed Pyrenees dog with tons of hair which means lots of shedding. The rake worked fine but this tool works so much better. A good purchase to be sure!

Removes quite a bit of hair between carpet fibers that vacuums miss. Huskies shed alot so I purchased this to use in every room. However the pole gets loose in spots from the back and forth motion. The blast plastic hanger part at the top always falls off in use which is highly annoying. Overall, the product works for the purpose intended.

We have three pugs, two cats, and a corgi. Our carpets are vacuumed once a week, and I assumed that was enough. I was wrong. I saw one of these carpet rakes on another site and thought it was too good to be true. But after some research, I bought this product just to see if it would do anything on our carpers. I used it on a small area in our bedroom and holy crap, the amount of hair I got out of it was insane. Using it was oddly satisfying. Even in areas the animals rarely go, it got up stuff that had probably been there since the last owners lived there. I highly recommend this to anyone who has carpet in their home, but especially pet parents dealing with shedding.

I was a bit worried this was going to damage the carpet, it seemed really rough to use. I tried it on a rug though and it got a huge amount of pet hair out and the rug looks great. Might not be suitable for all carpet but worked for me.

Works really really well!! Rakes pet hair out of carpet like a janitorial mop at a school. Perfect follow up after vacuuming to occasionally get the deeper hair out

There isn't much to say about this. It's a carpet rake to pull fur out of your carpets. It works extremely well, takes minimal effort, and is overall extremely satisfying to use. My only gripe with this is that the included handle feels a "bit" flimsy, like it's going to snap. This is simply because the handle is shipped in pieces to save on shipping/packaging. Totally understandable. I've only used this once so far, and it's held up. In reality, it's the head of the rake which I bough, which also fits on any standard broom handle which you can get at any Dollarama, Dollar Tree, or just about any other dollar store for a couple of bucks, in the event that the included one does not last. The head of this rake is quite solidly built, and should last for quite a while. Do yourself a favour, and if you own pets which shed, and carpets, buy this rake. You will not regret it! 5/5 stars, even despite the flimsy feeling handle (which I remind you, has held up so far...) [EDIT] - November 12, 2024. The handle is actually a fair bit stronger than originally thought. It's held up quite well for daily use so far. The small black tip at the end of the handle continues to pop off, but this is extremely minor. In addition, it was tested using a handle from a dollar store, but the threading are NOT the same so this is not an actual option as originally suggested. This means that if the included handle fails, you may have a difficult time finding a replacement.

Amazing for removing cat hair - don’t do this too often and patch test the carpet prior to doing the whole thing I use this once every 6 months to ensure all cat hair is removed - works wonders
