Q: Would these be too bug for a 12 year old?

My daughter is 11yrs old but wears womens size 10/12. The small are a perfect fit for her.

My daughter is a size 12 and she got a medium. Have you looked at the short quiz (not sure if this is still an option for you but we answered some questions and they suggested a size based on the answers we gave. (For example, what bottoms size do you go for in primark/next/etc the medium was a perfect fit.)

My 14 year old is a curvier size 10-12 on the bottom. She wears a medium. Friending in how slim your daughter is go for a S or XS

To be honest I’ve not had an opportunity to wear them in the water yet on period days, but they seem like they would be good enough even for a heavier period? My daughters wear period knickers and they seem as good? Sorry not to be of more help x
