Exactly as one would expect based on its name
Exactly as one would expect based on its name. This is an extraordinarily thin resin, and wicks into anything to which it's applied in a hurry. This is not the right choice for building up a wing case type of lump on a Copper John. But it's a fantastic choice to replace head cement with a tiny drop on the final whip finish on any fly. It immediately soaks into the thread, and becomes invisible, yet indestructible once zapped with a UV light. The bone dry part of the name is equally as true. There is no tack at all once zapped.Just keep this stuff out of the sun, even through your window at your tying desk, as it will start to harden in a big hurry in any sunlight.

Even better then the original.
I've been a big fan of the regular Bone Dry for years but hated the application system on it. The brush would harden and I would end up using a bodkin to apply to my heads. The Plus delivery system is far better. I love the needle tip and with the slight angle it is perfect for finishing off fly heads as well as applying into the gaps of fish masks. It's quite thin so it's not ideal if you plan to use it to make a bulky head but finishes "bone dry" without a tacky film. It also doesn't yellow which is perfect if you plan to use it on any light colored threads. The original Bone Dry was my favorite and this one is even better. Highly recommend!

Finally a UV resin that dries to touch!
I experimented with several different UV resins and even the Solarez UV resins and always found the others to leave a sticky finish. This dries bone dry to the touch and is exactly what I was looking for.The applicator brush is super small. Great when you're getting into a tight spot, not so great when you're coating a foam popper body. Its expensive for what you get, but it's the best UV resin IMO. If you need to build up, you can save by using another resin and curing it, then just use this for the top coat and it will leave the surface bone dry. It's also a great way to get rid of those old resins you may not want to use anymore.

Performs exactly as advertised.
This is a thin, clear, fast hardening resin. Also perfect for putting a small ramp where a replaced tip-top meets the original wraps. It can enable a tiny juncture with a nice, slightly raised joint. If you feel you used too much or put it on where you didn't want to, just wipe it off and try again. No pressure. Wonderful. I use mostly for Perdigon flies. Again, perfect.

Expensive and worth it - game changer with fly tying
It comes in just shy of $20 for 0.5oz - but it is completely worth it. Other products are too thick to use effectively as head cement, or are unable to clear as hard and smooth as this stuff. I've tied 100s of flies with one bottle, so you won't be running out soon.Low odor, dries fast, not tacky, strong, and looks clean. Completely replaced head cement, and can also make smooth and slick perdigons with ease. Complete game changer with fly tying. Can not recommend enough.

Must Have for Today's Flies
A bit pricy but much needed for tying today's fly patterns.

Best UV glue product available.
I use this to tie flies, build-up bodies, and even small repairs. I bought the solarez - recommended UV flashlight, and I think this is very important because it emits the specific UV light band that cures the UV resin so completely and quickly, making it tack-free. I’ve used other UV lights and they may leave it tacky, so I read up on why that is the case and curing requires a specific frequency range, otherwise, the surface that comes in contact with oxygen will never cure and remain tacky.
