I purchased this to use as a foot stool when I'm sitting at my stand up desk. The bar around my chair is uncomfortable to use for longer periods of time. I really wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was very pleased. This is way sturdier than I anticipated. It's great for storing my notebooks and other things that normally clutter my desk. The material feels like good quality. It looks really nice and was really easy to assemble. I don't know if I would use it as a stool. It's sturdy, but not necessarily full grown adult sturday. For kids? 100% sturdy enough. I love it and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I needed something with padding on the top to rest my feet in a small sitting area. What I was using was a hard stool and a pillow always fell off. This offered the solution of a comfortable, padded foot rest and storage for miscellaneous items I keep by the chair. It is nicely put together, the padded top, etc. I read where some said it did not last but often people will use something not for what it was intended or built for. I would NOT sit on this or try and stand on it. It is built for just the weight of your feet resting on it which does not put that much stress on it. This item has ample support to take that kind of use. I do love being able to hide my books, yarn, magazines, etc inside, leaving my space looking neater. I wish I had ordered the fog blue because the gray is way too light, and looking at my chair, against the gray ottoman, the fog blue probably would have gone with it better since the chair is not a solid gray. The wrong choice in color was my bad. I am just very happy with it and it meets my needs nicely. If the need arose, I would buy another, recommend it to others. It would make a nice gift to someone, but inform them of it correct use. I know people try things that some items were not made for. Kids may play hard on it, etc. I would take that into consideration when reading the 1 star reviews where they say the lid broke. I think it had help from the purchaser.

You have to fold it out and put the base in. It comes flat but it’s pretty solid. It’s so easy and takes one second to unfold and put the base in. It’s like particleboard wood it’s pretty hard inside the walls. Not super sturdy compared to furniture but it’ll hold your feet. Idk if I’d sit on it. and it is fairly low but good for a low chair. I got it for my boneless loveseat. Might want a higher stool for a typical chair. Certainly better than no foot stool. Nice little storage thing. Too low to eat a plate off of or work on. They gave me a nice little gift, this seller did.

Foldable box, super easy to set up in under a minute. Cute, functional - lightweight. Lovely color and soft finish. Wouldn’t hold a lot of horse play or weight - perfect little stow away stool under the couch or in a closet for that unexpected extra guest settee or quick TV table.

This storage ottoman is surprisingly sturdy. I saw videos of people sitting on it and was skeptical, but after receiving it, I can totally see somebody using it as a little stool in real life. The fabric quality is beautiful, and looks chic and not cheap! You can put it together in under a minute. There is a bit of a smell, but I’m assuming it will go away with offgassing. (If I don’t notice the smell going away, I will update my review.) I bought this as a footstool, but throw a nice tray on it, and it becomes a little end table! Plus you have the storage capability. All in all this is a great value.

Super easy to assemble. Comes in small packaging. You just open it up and unfold it-put the top on. Has small storage on the inside for little throw blankets and is durable.

Love these the look, quality, thickness, versatility and durability is excellent.

I'm extremely disappointed in the size of this storage - it's tiny. I was replacing it with my 15X15 inch square ottoman storage (which I would have bought another but they are no longer available). I'm too old to return it as I don't drive and am handicapped. It's nicely made and well constructed and measures 16X12 with the height 13 inches high. No storage room to speak of. why is everything today made smaller and costs more? It's nice but too tiny. I don't want a real long one but a bit longer than 13 inches! :(

This small ottoman is great quality, very good fabric, feels sorta like velvet takes 2 seconds to put it together its super cute as a stool maybe for your child to sit on. holds a decent amount of stuff depending what you put in it. I would buy this again :)
