Works very well but be patient, some weeds take longer to die than others!
I've never used this product before, but I'm glad I found it! My lawn had gotten so full of weeds, I decided to just kill everything with a broad-spectrum vegetation killer and start over. Waited until Fall, then sprayed the lawn, waited 2-3 weeks and sprayed it again to make sure everything was dead. Had to look at bare earth all winter, but it was for the best. This is where I messed up... In the spring, I tilled up the entire area and immediately put down some very expensive grass seed. I've since learned that it's best to till, wait a week or so for the weed seeds you just tilled up to sprout, then spray weed killer again to get rid of all the weeds before putting down grass seed. Having planted the grass seed right after tilling, the number of weeds that sprouted was insane. I didn't have a lawn, I had a huge patch of plantain, clover, Japanese clover, dollar weed, and crabgrass. Some of the grass grew, but it was mostly weeds. I've read a lot of reviews for grass seed that complain about nothing but weeds growing, but their description indicates that they did the same thing I did and planted right after tilling. Anyway...I found this product and followed directions to hopefully kill off the weeds. I knew that I was going to have a lot of bare spots (since I had so many weeds that had crowded out the grass), but I planned to over-seed this fall, anyway. The plantain, dollar weed, and clover started to die within 2 days and were completely gone within a week. The Japanese clover, however, took a while longer to start to die. I was starting to think that I was going to have to re-apply this or a different brand to kill it, but after almost 2 weeks it finally started to wither and has now died off.I do have a lot of areas that need to be re-seeded, but at least the weeds are under control and mostly gone. The crabgrass will have to be treated a different way since this product does not kill actively growing crabgrass, and I'm overseeding this fall so I can't use a pre-emergent next spring, either. The combination of fertilizer and weed killer is great, though, since crabgrass is opportunistic and grows when turf grass is not well-fed or maintained. Hopefully, ensuring the health of the lawn will help prevent crabgrass from taking hold next spring.I'm happy with the results, even though it took longer than I expected for some of the weeds. The biggest difficulty I had was keeping the dog off the treated area for a few days (the info on the bag says no pets/humans for 24 hours, but I erred on the side of caution and waited until it rained before letting her back on the treated area).

Effective Weed Control and Fertilizer Combo
I have used Scotts Liquid Turf Builder with Plus 2 Weed Control on my lawn and the results have been impressive. The weed killer effectively targets and eliminates various types of weeds, while the fertilizer helps promote healthy grass growth. The liquid formula is easy to apply and covers a large area. Overall, I am pleased with the performance of this product and would recommend it to others looking to maintain a lush and weed-free lawn.

Did not work spring this year (2025) - the weeds still growing
March 2025: 3 weeks after peoduct applied and watered as directed, it has not killed any weeds! I bought the same stuff last year in March 2024 and it killed weeds beautifully and greened up the Bermuda grass. The Scott’s product form on Amazons site didn’t work so I couldn’t file for their no-quibble guarantee, but I contacted Amazon customer support and they graciously refunded me for my 2025 purchases.

Worked well for my centipede grass, atm
I applied this using the Scott's Whirl Hand Power spreader evenly throughout my back and front lawn with noticeable results in grass quality. The grass went from yellowish to dark green within about 2 weeks. Also make sure to wait until after its finished raining or grass is damp before applying. I can still see some weeds but much less than before using it. I'd imagine it'll take time before most disappear and will update this review later.

Works… Kind of, But Not as Impressive as Expected
I had high expectations for this product after examining the label — a combination of weed killer and fertilizer seemed like a great idea. Unfortunately, the outcomes were somewhat disappointing. The positives: It was straightforward to use with a hose-end sprayer, and it appeared to enhance certain areas of my lawn within a week. The grass certainly appeared healthier in some spots, indicating that the fertilizer component is effective to some extent. The negatives: Regarding weed control, the effectiveness was inconsistent. It managed to eliminate some smaller broadleaf weeds, but more persistent ones like clover and dandelions showed little to no response. After two weeks, I still had a significant number of weeds remaining, which meant I had to resort to a separate spot treatment.Additionally, the coverage seemed a bit overly optimistic — if your yard is medium to large, you will probably require more than one bottle to achieve complete results. In summary, it’s not awful, but it’s not exceptional either. It serves as a reasonable all-in-one option if your lawn just requires a slight enhancement and has few weed problems. However, for more resilient weeds or larger lawns, you may want to consider something more potent or specialized.

Helped Some, But Not a Total Game Changer!
I had high hopes for Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed3, especially given its reputation. I used it on my lawn (roughly 4,500 sq. ft.) following all the directions closely—applied when the grass was damp, used a spreader, and avoided mowing before or after for the recommended time.Pros:The grass did green up nicely after about a week, and overall looks healthier than before. It was easy to apply and the coverage seemed accurate for the 5,000 sq. ft. claim.Cons:As for the weed control, I saw only partial success. Some of the dandelions and clover started to wilt, but a good number of them bounced back after a couple of weeks. I was expecting more consistent results for the price. You’ll likely need a second application or spot treatment with something stronger for tougher weeds.Overall, it’s okay as a lawn booster, but not the silver bullet for weed problems that I hoped it would be. If your lawn is already in decent shape, it might work better—but don’t expect it to fix a weedy yard overnight.
