Just got a Garmin 965! I love it! First fitness watch. It was expensive though, and after just having to replace an iPhone screen recently (ouch) the last thing I want to be worried about when working out is my watch’s AMOLED screen! I watched a Youtube video from Fitgear that led me here. Watching his application tutorial and what he said about giving it 24hrs made this work for me. The instructions are sort of unclear but that guy’s video clarifies a lot. The main thing is, give the TPU 24 hours to let the bubbles settle before you give up! I really did not believe they would go away. I had like 8 huge bubbles after application (yes I cleaned thoroughly with alcohol and used dust stickers) but after 24 hrs the bubbles are completely gone like you see in the picture! I’ve already managed to slam my wrist into a doorknob and the screen is unscathed! With the 965, the screen being tapered means any glass screen protectors aren’t going to work or fit. You have to use TPU. This one works great! I’d highly recommend it. Just follow this order: First alcohol wipe, use microfiber to dry it off, dust sticker to remove dust just before application, center the TPU on the watch face, rub with card to apply firmly, remove top film, and wait 24 hrs for any bubbles to settle. It looks just like what I show in the pics above, you don’t even notice it! Good protection for the glass most scratches or dings. Thanks!

It was very, very difficult to install. I ruined two before getting the third one to stick and seperate correctly. There are three layers as mentioned in other reviews. A slight bending as I pulled the 2 tab got it to seperate rather than pulling the film off of the face. Then I was able to use the "squeegee" tab that's included to push out the air bubbles. So I'd consider this a package of ones to test before you successfully install one. I was going to include a picture but there isn't anything to show. I can't tell it's there even on the rounded edges. Time will tell how it holds up, but I'd rather have the film scratch than the watch face.Edit: The manufacturer reached out and is sending me a new pack as spares if the current one gets scratched. So far it's looking great. And I can only tell it's installed if I look at just the right angle in bright sunlight. I have to really look hard to even know it's there. So I've been quite happy with it so far. I would include a picture but I can't get one that shows it. It's that difficult to see.

Everyone else said that it the included instructions are really bad and to follow an online guide. That is what I did. The thin film does not get stuck to the glass at all and comes off when you try to remove the thicker film above it. In the videos, it works flawlessly. I used all 3 of them, I had the same issue with all three.Step one: remove the bottom film (has a 1 on it)Step 2: put the film with the thin plastic holder on the watchStep 3: pull the plastic holder off and leave the film behindStep 3 doesn’t work, it takes the entire film off with it leaving you will a now dirty and unusable film not attached to the watch. Your better off getting a glass screen protector instead of whatever this is.

To begin with, per your recommendation on Reddit, I watched a YouTube video on how to put this on. I did exactly what was shown in the video. It is so perfect that I could not tell if it was actually on the watch or not. I kept crunching up the back and front piece that you remove to see if I could get a thin layer off of either one of them And I could not. The only reason I know that this is on my watch, is, I can feel the edge of it with my finger nail if I try very carefully. I have no bubbles, and I absolutely cannot see the covering. And I did it on my first try. I actually am shocked, because I put these on my other watches and my phone, and I always end up with a speck of dust or a bubble. This went on perfectly , if you go to YouTube and search for the screen protector for 965 you will see a comparison of two different screen protectors and this is the one that is recommended after doing both types.

Bought it for my Garmin 965 to prevent scratches after watching a review online.As everyone says, its goofy to apply. There are 3 pieces (2 pieces of film over the actual product). 1 film is removed and adheres to the watch face, then the other film is pealed off exposing the top of product.They had some tools in there that made this easier. After applying it. I had some small air bubbles that disappeared the next day. Don't sweat those.I did have one odd thing happen. Being out in the Phoenix, Arizona summer heat, I had one side of the film just lift off, I pressed it back down with no further issues. I have not had this happen since, and have had no ill effects from it.It's not a bad product and it works like it should... its just a pain to actually get it on the watch the first time.

I have had this protector on for the past 8 months, and it still looks good as new. Wear the watch almost daily. No bubbles and no peeling. Was easy to install, just important to use the alcohol wipe and let dry thoroughly. Strongly recommend this product.

Hard to get the bubbles out. Seems likely to stay on which is what I really needed

Provides great protection for my Garmin watch. Nothing else would give the complete protection because of the rounded edges of the crystal. I followed the steps found on a youtube video. The couple of bubbles that were visible right after installation were gone the next day. The screen is still crystal clear with no sign of the protective film. The next best thing to a glass protective screen.
