Rimblades Ultra Alloy Rim Protectors - DELUXE KIT (10 Colours Available) (Black)

Most of us have suffered kerb rash at some time. This product gives you a chance at avoiding serious damage. Prior to fitting these protectors, I had paid £90 per wheel for refurbishment.Although on the face of it these protectors should be easy to install, if like most of us you haven’t done it before be very careful to follow the instructions precisely.I thought I had but by he forces at work on a wheel rotating at 70 mph are significant and any weakness will be exposed quite quickly.Once installed they appear to work but time will tell how long the adhesion lasts. I simply don’t know but so far so good after a month.If you do have an issue, as I did, the customer support is pretty good.

Arrived in time, well packaged and instructions where easy to read and understand.Fitted to the wheels myself and overall didn't take too long from start to finish for all four wheels to be completed.

Great product. Instantly makes the car better and more unique. I actually chose blue ones for my red type R for the contrast and they look amazing and are protecting my alloys too. Only took half an hour to fit to all the wheels and done. These are the second time I've put them on one of my cars and will definitely use them again

Decent product. But 1 protector has come off after a few weeks of driving. The rest are fine. The sticky strip is still on the wheel but the plastic/rubber protector has come off whilst driving today.

Bought these to cover a recent kerb incident. Damage wasn't too bad but it was bugging me so I decided to buy these after watching a few videos and reading the reviews.There are a few different models but after reading, decided these were the best option.Went with the black (matt finish) as didn't want to draw attention to then and they blend in really well with the tyre colour.I cleaned the alloys and then proceeded to wipe them down with the alcohol wipes which are included (one for each wheel) Then proceeded to wipe in the application fluid with the included sponge. The instructions said to leave for 5 mens so I made a quick brew.The fluid dried to a light tack (don't worry about getting it on other parts of your rims as easily cleans off)I then started applying the rim protector, working my way round an inch or so at a time while at the same time going back over and applying even pressure to ensure they were well adhered.As these are a universal fit and I was applying them to 18" rims, there was around 5 or 6 inches left overhanging so I marked a line with a pencil and then cut the excess off with a pair of scissors.Be sure to leave a millimetre or two over and essentially wedge the last part to the first. This will ensure they line up without any gaps.I decided not to add the joint cover as didn't really feel they were needed.Overall, very pleased with them and they are really well stuck on.Would recommend to anyone who want to add a but to spice to their rims while giving them a little protection at the same time.I'm hoping they are never put to the test but it's a bit of piece of mind.Awesome!

Look great and were very easy to install. Covered up a few bits of road rash nicely and give a nice look to finish off the look on my car. One point, wear gloves as I am still getting glue of my fingers!

I purchased a set of these for my brand new German import alloy wheels. Before fitting they advise a special cleaner which I purchased separately as I do detail my tyres. In the pack is an adhesive accelerate which must be applied. This stuff is dangerous and removed the coating from the alloy down to bare metal. See the image at the top of the wheel.I contacted rim blades and they reply very quickly. Lots of probing questions did you do this, have they been repaired, where did you buy them like that makes a difference. They are a month old. Ohh must be down to the manufacturer not baking them long enough. Funny they were fine until I used your inferior product. Full of excuses telling me how their customer service is the best. Please don't buy these if you have expensive wheels you will regret it.

The Rimblades are a good quality. The instructions are easy to understand. Allow the main purpose is to protect the wheels, they also look good.
