These work great for my baby chicks! I just wish the feeder had the legs on it like the waterer does so that my chicks didn't scratch the food out and waste it.

Seems to be a nice quality heavy plastic and strong hinges on waterer to keep it upright works great for young chicks. I would have given 5 stars but it came damaged and I needed it immediately. So I had to use it damaged.

I purchased this feeder and waterer when it was discounted for prime day. It was great for the sale price. Luckily it was marked down because full price doesn't seem worth it. It worked for small chicks. Once my girls got to 4 weeks or so, they were big enough that they needed to legs of the waterer to be flipped out. Well, the legs don't snap or lock when extended. You have to be careful as they bend back in easily which can cause the waterer to tip over and spill out. Luckily it only happened a couple times throughout their brooder days. I don't recommend it for older chicks or chickens as it felt more annoying to use as they got older. The feeder worked well for my chicks, but overall not having the top open is a pain. You have to twist off the tube to fill the food and once the container is full, it's difficult to flip and put back onto the base of the feeder without spilling some of the food everywhere. As they got older, they ate a lot more which means having to refill that feeder more often.It works well for little chickens and worth it for new chicken parents if you can get it on sale.

Well now, if you’ve got baby chicks runnin’ around like feathery toddlers, the Eggluuz Chick Feeder and Waterer Kit is about as handy as a pocket on a shirt. It's lightweight, easy to clean, and keeps the feed and water where it belongs—off the coop floor and in those tiny beaks. I’d call it chick-tested, farmer-approved, and cute as all get-out sittin’ in the brooder.
