It looked a little plasticky but I was quite happy with the design and the DVD player at least appeared to function well. The screen was pretty clear and the sound was good. I did not use any other functions. So because I was rather busy at the time, I played no more than two or three DVDs and decided instead to put everything back into the box until I had more time to play around with it. This did not happen until the Christmas holidays, when I was disappointed to discover that although the screen came on, nothing else would would work. To add insult to injury, when I attempted to discuss the options for return, repair or refund, it was assumed that I had somehow damaged the product and I was advised to get the item fixed myself. I could not find UK address to write to so I have just made one final attempt to escalate my concerns before finally giving up in disgust. I may just have been unlucky but I am extremely disappointed at the lack of redress when a product ceases to function for no apparent reason. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent item *by T***D on 4 October 2013* The item was packaged well. No problems using it. Been a great asset. I would recommend the company to anyone a nd would definitely use them again ### ⭐ Really basic, broke within 4 months and refuse to replace *by R***E on 10 January 2014* I can accept that for under £40 this portable dvd player will be basic, but i did not expect it to stop working after only 4 mnths of light use. The company who sold it to me, Hotsellnow4, refuses to accept any responsibility and refuses to replace or refund the item after 4 months of use.
