What a great piece of equipment this is! Straightforward but very effective. I put 7kg of weights on from the start thinking it would be easy and I was wrong! Burning forearms and gurning face! I stuck with it though and have seen my forearms 'blow up' significantly since I started using it. Three or four complete winds of the rope up then down morning and night and bingo - built up forearms! Very pleased!! I would recommend it to anyone.

As other reviewers have said, the sponge around the handles has absolutely nothing holding it to the bar so as soon as you add anything over 2.5kg the sponge just twists instead of the bar, i took the sponge off to see if that was better but the bar itself is too smooth to get any grip. The only way to use this is to add chalk to my hands. I suppose if you are a novice in gym and you are looking to tone up with light weights then this is fine but anything past that and it is a complete waste of money, so bad it has actually prompted me to write my first ever review.

    A nice compliment to my arms workout

These were great, they do a good job to workout my foreheads and compliment my arms day.  Only issue i found was that the bult at the bottom became loose everytime in my back so i had to go fishing to find it.  Shame that i keep forgetting these in the gym, and they get stolen, it was my 2nd one. Anyway good exercise!
