World Map - Bucket list travel map

I really love it and am considering buying another one as a gift.Very good quality map and I can't wait to scratch off all the countries I have travelled to. Was very impressed by the high quality paper and the snippets of information on the map are actually very informative. Now I'm on the lookout for a frame to put it in to protect the silver coating being inadvertently scratched off.It came in a colourful and beautifully designed cardboard tube with a plastic lid so would make an ideal present and the outer delivery packaging from Amazon was also very good.(UPDATE) Just went and scratched off the countries I have travelled to on the map as I didn't think it would be a fair review if I hadn't. I had seen other reviews saying they had difficulty doing it, so didn't want to shout it from the rooftops if it failed in this area. Well the good news...one 50p piece and it's easy peasy and the pictures underneath the coating are lovely.Honestly you won't be disappointed, a great buy!It's even inspired me to take another holiday...

Gift for a friend who loves it

I bought this as a gift for some well-travelled friends. It is beautifully packaged, making it a very handsome gift to give, it's fun to use and a real talking point. I like the facts printed around the edges of the continents, which makes excelelnt use of the otherwise blank space. The silver works very well with the oceans, and once scratched, the map is colourful and even more beautiful. Thank you for an excellent product.

Excellent piece of artwork to plot my way around the world . . .will have fun highlighting the countries visited so far and looking for pastures new!

Bought this for my bf, as he is a globe trotter, and he loved it! Out of all maps I came across with I think this is the best option! Drawings underneath are so funny and cool!! It is easy to scratch and looks super afterwards! I must say that the images are a little "UK cliche", but I think that adds charm to it...I would 100 % recommend it!!!

My mum loved this as a gift and the quality o the map is great. It's encourage her to travel more and she loves how its a way to keep tabs on where she's been. It's also a great talking point whenever someone sees it and we also always get asked where we got it from. So much cheaper to get it from here than other places and the graphics of the countries are really nice too.

Complete disappointment.I purchased this map while I was travelling during the summer and I couldn't wait to start scratching off all the places I visited. Unfortunately when I started to scratch of the individual countries nothing would work I tried coins, plastic and nail, this left scratch marks all over the map. Then to my horror I found blue tac on the back of the map obviously this had been used before. I really wanted to love this map but sadly its a waste of money!

Love the idea of this. Unfortunately the silver is hard to get off fully and either leaves a great stain behind or pulls up the paper behind. Pictures behind however are nice and colourful and really illustrates the point of the map. Shame
