This is exactly what I needed to finish my custom go kart build and I haven't had any issues with any of the components in fact I don't think I have ever had any issue with PRO BAT products i use to build go karts and mini bikes This is the go kart i used this rack and pinion steering wheel kit on and i haven't had any issues with it at all

Do NOT buy this
Garbage I wouldn’t even use this on a powerwheels car. I had to return this pile after a lot of swearing when opening the box and even trying to make a mount for it. Not even sure how you can even sell this steering rack without specifying that it’s just for show and you shouldn’t ever actually use it on anything you drive. I rated it 5 stars only to get to the top of the comments.

Plastic Steering Rack Body????
Wishing the listing info would include that the steering rack has a plastic body. Not ideal for most builds. The gear mesh on the rack is not that good either.
