Loved to know about what dopamine does to our system and also what oxytocin, endorphin and serotonin does. Neurotransmitters - amazed to know.

I’ve always had an allergy for self help books yet this one seemed very compelling for the very reason that the book clearly gave me a reflection of my current state of mind. Written in a very simple, practical and not with very heavy examples I feel the steps outlined here in for a personal change is very much an easy guide. I’ve yet to do the action plan but it seems worth it after all. Highly recommend

Just amazing book, was really in need of something like this, my dopamine system was hijacked and i was not even aware of it, thanks a lot to the writer for giving some really important insights into how our dopamine system is hijacked and how we can gain control of our focus and life by practicing dopamine detox.

The content is amazing. But what I really liked about this book compared to similar books is that we have examples here, but the amount of them is just right. In other books you have so many examples and in most cases they are very long and descriptive which makes finishing books much more difficult and boring. But this book is full of knowledge that is delivered concisely and without unnecessary digressions.

This book could benefit everyone. It isn’t going to blow your mind with facts, science, case studies, or any form of deep learning or analysis. But, given the topic of the book, I think that’s best.I skipped many paragraphs, as the content was common knowledge (for me, and for most people), but there was certainly helpful information in the Dopamine Detox book.Though short, sweet, simply written, and laden with everyday knowledge, Meurisse does a good job putting into perspective why our lives feel like, and have become an electric chaotic roller coaster.Great read to help those dealing with various mental health hurdles.

It's a short book with some great points. I loved to read it and i also loved that its not artificially prolonged woth nonsense
