My husband & I had a fun time building this kit. And it actually works! Highly recommend

We like this project, but it does run on batteries (3 triple As) so, that’s not ideal for a nightlight. Fun to build, but it may not last too long 😥

It is very important to check to see if the lights work before assembling!! The stems are created by wrapping the light string around the flowers, then glueing the sting onto the base. You don’t want to do all the work then find out that the light doesn’t work. :)4-stars. Because I have made a few of these already I am visually aware of how much glue and how many stones are needed to cover the base and wires. So when I saw the amount of stones/glue I thought, “oh, dear..”There were enough stones to cover the wires, but barely. One less stone and it wouldn’t of been enough :(I filled over the noticeable gaps and wires with the hot glue.There are 2 different mini sizes of glue sticks. the one I received was the shorter of the two kinds. Because I used a glue gun it could only get out half before I had to insert another stick(from a previous kit). If you melt the glue with a candle lighter then you will not have this problem.I only used 10 flowers for a sparser look. The glass dome is not attached so it can be used without it.It’s a great DIY kit for teens since it’s a practical gift they can make for themselves. The rocks shine if placed in the sun so it’s beautiful whether it’s on or off.

It's an art project dressed up to be a night light. Also you have to keep replacing the batteries as they run down quite fast. Not worth the money unless you like DIY projects....send it assembled and maybe it's sort of worth the money.

I let a friend's 13 year old daughter put this together just to see how easy it was, and it turned out great! As you can see, it's very cute and would look good in any type of decor situation or would make an excellent gift! Requires use of a glue gun (not included) and batteries to light up (also not included). If you're looking for a cute little decor piece for yourself or someone you love, and like DIY projects, this would be perfect!

This was a fun kit to do. It is very simple and straightforward to do, and the finished product is quite pretty! I wish that it ran on a rechargeable battery instead of using 3 AAA batteries, but it works as expected and is as described.The glass dome on the kit that I received was padded very well with bubble wrap and everything arrived in clean and undamaged condition. I do wish that there were a few more of the stones that go around the flowers, but overall I am happy with the kit.
