Review: Best thing ever for dogs that scratch doors! - Absolutely love these, imagine a phone screen protector but much larger and you will know what they are like. I recently moved into a property with new french doors which I wanted to protect. I have 4 large dogs who all jump up at the door to come back in from the garden and sometimes scratch at the door to go out. Our old back door was ruined because of it and we didn't want to risk it again, hunted everywhere online and found these. They came in branded packaging and with clear instructions, I ordered 2 packs for both the interior and exterior of the doors. Fantastic product. No regrets at all. Review: Worth Every Penny! - Excellent product, It actually does what it promises my door is completely protected from scratches now. Before this, my dog would claw at the door every time I left, and the bottom half was covered in marks. Since adding this protector, not a single new scratch. It's a huge relief. The material is thick and durable but still flexible, and it sticks on cleanly without damaging the paint. It’s also crystal clear, so it doesn’t make the door look weird or messy you barely notice it’s there. Install took less than few minutes, and it’s been holding strong ever since. If your pet scratches at doors like mine does, this is hands down one of the simplest and most effective fixes. Worth every penny. ## Features - Paw Proof Your Doors: Ring, ring… Do your fur babies scratch every time the doorbell rings? It is made of plastic/ Perspex so is weatherproof. However the supplied sticky pads/ Velcros which fix the product to the door would not be weatherproof, but it may be B&Q have some sticky pads etc that would serve. **Q: Can this be cut?** A: Yes! I cut it to fit around the door handle. Easily done. **Q: Would this stick to a glass door?** A: Yes, you can attach our scratch protector to the glass door. **Q: How do i remove the sticky pads from the doors when i no longer need the product ? won’t they pull the varnish off ? they appear very strong** A: Adhesives attached to our door scratch protector have really strong glue. Please remove them very carefully and slowly in order not to remove paint or varnish. You can heat them up before using ex. hairdryer - glue should melt a little bit and it should be easier to remove them. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best thing ever for dogs that scratch doors! *by S***S on 3 April 2026* Absolutely love these, imagine a phone screen protector but much larger and you will know what they are like. I like the clear 3M dots as they have a final red protective cover so you can see them to remove them. Just installed so we’ll see how it sticks. ## Frequently Bought Together - PROTECTO Heavy Duty Door Protector Dog Scratch Guard 35.5x24 Transparent Cat Scratch Protector Easy-to-Install Anti-Scratch Door Guard for Dogs and Cats Protection for Furniture, Walls and Windows - CHUANGSEED Door Protector from Dog Scratching,21cm x 5meter Clear Door Scratch Protector, Heavy Duty Door Guard Cover for Dog and Cat Clawing, Flexible Door Scratch Shield - PROTECTO Pet Scratch Protector w/Custom-Cut Knife – 3-Pack 60" x 8” Door Guard + Wood & Furniture Shield for Dog & Cat Scratching Deterrent, Defender & Repellent w/Super Sticky Self-Adhesive Backing --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/52602958-protecto-ultra-durable-door-protector-for-dogs-90x60-cm-clear](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/52602958-protecto-ultra-durable-door-protector-for-dogs-90x60-cm-clear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
