My kids and I love this microwave! It fits perfectly on my counter area where I had my last one, it's beautiful and stylish. Easy to use and DOESN'T come with that annoying "quick cook" setting (we just can't stand that although many people like that option which is fine, to each their own) . We love the *crisp* option on it, works great for reheating pizza, fries, breaded chicken and really anything that should be on the crispy side versus soggy. I love the easy touch screen and the fact I can lower/turn up the "finish" sound. The inside is NOT plastic which I'm so happy about because our last microwave was and stains plus smells just stick around and are so hard to get out but, this one is super easy to clean in and out. It comes with a beautiful glass turn plate for inside and a sturdy door handle instead of the button push to open (which the kids and I don't like those, we prefer the handle but, again to each their own). The price is a little spendy for the unit size in my opinion but, this microwave is still well worth it due to the beautiful design, stylish display screen, great interior lighting, option choices AND the fact that it has an energy saver built in for the display screen (only the clock stars illuminated when not being used, the rest of the display goes into sleep mode). All in all I am beyond happy and will be buying my older kids one for their new place.

I enjoy the ease & quickness of microwaves, but this one actually gives me the option to have a crunch, for better texture. I'm able to cook anything with the combination of both the microwave feature, & crisp in one shot. For example i can tap micro for 2 min and immediately press crisp & add 2 minutes, and it changes cooking methods automatically. Push start, then walk away and return in 4 minutes total, my meal is done. :) It is a lazy mans dream. So my burgers & fries that are frozen, that have to be defrosted and cooked, come out just perfect. Just a tip, don't cover the food with a plastic top when using the CRISP feature. It can melt the plastic since the heat is coming from heated metal like a toaster oven. If I could change one thing about it, would be the size. I would really enjoy all these features in a bigger dimensions. My Samsung microwave ( $400 + )finally gave out, so i tried this out of the blue as a temporary fix and love this one so far & I'm going to stick with it.

Love the look and function of this microwave. The crisp option is great so far. In fact the only thing I think is missing is the lack of a power setting. I’m used to using different power settings when using the microwave and I miss that option. It is easy to operate, readable touchpad and a good size I have only had it for a couple of weeks now but so far it’s a good choice and a good price. I would recommend it to a friend.

Item shipped earlier than estimated even arrived one day before scheduled! Plus, in excellent condition inside and out! I had been without a microwave for over a week (after purchasing 2 others with faulty magnetrons/high-pitch buzzing when plugged in) I decided to spend a little more. I was hesitant about the crisper feature and digital control board. However, after using it many times the last few days, I am really enjoying it. The only thing to note is you can not change the power level but I rarely ever use that feature so not important to me. It is very quiet during operation and doesn’t make the before mentioned high-pitch buzzing while being plugged in. Heats properly. Crisper feature seems worthy. Door has pull handle with minimum resistance opening/closing. Overall I rate it as an excellent purchase and remain hopeful for long term performance.

My old microwave died. I was very picky about the replacement. This one has plenty of room inside, same as my old one but has a smaller shell. It’s much more quiet than my old one. The alert notification is pleasant and quiet. It also stops when you open the door. The light display is large and easy to read. I’m still figuring out the crisp feature. I heated some French fries but I think I should have heated longer, but I was hungry. Haha You do have to lift up on the handle (child safety feature) but that doesn’t bother me. If you are looking for a quiet microwave that works well, this is it.

I would give zero stars because this was unusable and very dangerous. The microwave was taken out of the box, plugged in, and tested with a microwave safe glass bowl with water in it. The power cord jiggled at the point where it enters the microwave and felt insecure. Upon pressing start on the control panel, I noticed that there are no power settings. You cannot change the power, it's just start and stop. This is a poor design choice that I wouldn't think someone would have to look out for in the list of features since this has been a standard feature for decades. Upon this initial use of microwaving a bowl of water, the control panel flashed, buzzed, and sparks were flying from the electrical components of the interior of the microwave. There was smell of hot plastic and I unplugged the microwave. I plugged it back in and the same thing occured and had to quickly unplug it. I was never able to test this product because within seconds of trying it, it almost caught on fire. I've never experienced this with any kind of electronic device. The quality control would seemingly be terrible since this did not work at all out of the box. It appears to be made of low quality components and even if it worked correctly, the cost is way too high in my opinion for such a simple microwave. The crisper feature appears to be a heating element on the top of the interior of the microwave. I was unable to test this feature as the microwave was unsafe to use. Even if this microwave worked, I wouldn't recommend it because of it's lack of power control and the low quality construction and components. A return and refund has been requested.

I’ve been using this for almost 2 months. I really like the microwave part. It heats up really fast. But! As for the Crisper part. It’s a joke 👎 and that is the reason I bought this microwave. I am very disappointed bcuz if did just bought a Microwave period - I could have saved at least $100.00.

The Chefman Microcrisp microwave was returned and replaced within the original 30 day trial period. The replacement did not have the problem previously encountered. This speaks to the importance of inspecting whatever you buy before the 30 day free return period as manufacturer defects or shipping damages exist with all products... Always inspect product after delivery. I am now satisfied with the Microcrisp microwave and have corrected the overall rating to reflect this. Previous subpar review: The microwave does not sit level on a level countertop surface causing it to rock back and forth and consequently does not hold steady to the surface which leads me to believe that it could eventually fall off the counter which would cause damage to it and possibly could injure a young child standing on the floor in front of it. Apparently the left front corner of it is too short by about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. This is rather annoying and I find it rather surprising that it is not mentioned in any of the other reviews... a potential safety hazard. I hate to report this as I think that otherwise the microcrisp feature of this microwave may potentially be a really great feature!

I like the size and I have only used it once but that was to heat up fish & chips..they came out crispy!! I have used it several times now and find I am guessing how long to cook or defrost and esp.using the crisp feature. There are VERY few directions so unless it is an item on the screen you guess. I am hoping I can get more Info.from the manufacturer.

It's "ok". Not really high powered and the 'crisp' function may crisp but it doesn't really warm... I think it took about 4x as long to heat up on that function and the difference wasn't noticeable. Already takes quite awhile to actually heat on the normal setting. Popcorn function is a laugh, not nearly long enough to even start the process.
