So happy I got this cookbook! There are an incredible number of recipes and I want to make 95% of them! It’s a combination of the mouthwatering photos along with surprisingly accessible authentic recipes that inspire me. There’s a menu suggestion section and descriptions of Thai ingredient staples, both of which are incredibly helpful. I especially love how they incorporate descriptive little pieces about this beautiful culture and its food. It’s a must have cookbook, definitely a great gift for all!

This is so much more than a book of recipes. At first glance you notice the beautiful photos of the prepared food, the market, and street scenes. All the cooking utensils and ingredients are presented with a description and a color photo, which is so useful. Each recipe includes a photo and an informational paragraph. What makes this cookbook special is how much you learn about Thailand along with the recipes.

This beautiful book is my ‘go to’ holiday present this year. The recipes are delicious and the pictures exquisite. 5 stars!!

Sometimes you buy a cookbook for the gorgeous photos but you feel too overwhelmed to actually try making the recipes. This is not that book. Yes, you are seduced by the beautiful photos and the lyrical, relatable stories that help you see Thai cuisine through the authors’ eyes. But then you try the recipes and you quickly realize how well-written they are, how easy the authors make it for you to prepare those authentic Thai flavors in your own kitchen. Must buy!

I don't usually leave product reviews, but I received this book as a gift and immediately rushed straight to Amazon to share my thoughts! For anyone who is looking for a great gift, you cannot go wrong with this cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow for beginner cooks, but also provide insight into Thai food and cooking that even expert chefs won't want to miss! The essays are thoughtful and perceptive - if you thought all you can learn from a cookbook was cooking, then buying this book will absolutely blow your mind.PS. You will never want to buy Pad Thai after you make this one - it's amazingly good.

This cookbook is a real winner! The recipes are easy to follow and the results are delicious! This is not your ordinary Thai cookbook.The recipes are wonderfully authentic Thai. Tonight I made the shrimp in egg curry sauce on page 66. So quick and easy to make with ingredients that are usually in your cupboards or in your fridge and bursting with rich curry flavour. I can’t wait to cook Thai again. This book is now my “go to” for Thai cooking! Enjoy!
