We like the smell and they work great but if they are directly in the shower stream they go quick. If they are outside the stream they do t activate. Still a. NIce refresh for a morning or evening shower.

I have used shower steamers before and was anxious to try these. They are slightly different but did not disappoint. First, they arrived sealed in a lovely box suitable for gifting. Upon unsealing the box, the fragrance leapt out. There were six different fragrance tablets, each individually wrapped, enclosed, but somehow, they all mixed together in a very inviting way. I was happy to drop one into the shower and begin my experience.First, these have a strong fragrance when dry. They are, however, delicate. When unwrapping my first tablet, I used cuticle scissors to snip the plastic wrapping. The tablet began breaking apart very easily, so it is best to unwrap it by the shower. Otherwise, it will begin spilling pieces and powder wherever it is free from the wrapping. No matter. My bathroom rug smells lovely. Next, there is a strong fragrance when the tablet gets wet, and the aroma is very soothing and pleasant. I did notice, however, that the tablet began disappearing rather quickly when wet. In fact, it did not last for my entire shower. My prior experience saw a more solid table with less fragrance. It did not flake, nor did it disappear quickly even in a long shower. There was, however, little fragrance. One must pick the experience, and I, personally, prefer this experience with the stronger fragrance. The fragrance does have a tendency to linger a bit, and there is no staining inside the shower. I am definitely happy about that finding. All in all, I am very pleased with this product. I think it gave me just what I needed and wanted. Could it have lasted a little longer? Yes, I think so. Could it have lasted longer at the expense of the strength of the fragrance? I'd rather not sacrifice the fragrance. The initial blast is quite pleasing. I love the idea of shower steamers, and these steamers do smell nice if you sniff them directly. However, I'm not impressed when using them in the shower. If you lay them in the tub so they only get hit indirectly, you can barely smell them at all, and they take ages to dissolve. If you put them a bit more under the waterflow, you can smell them a little better, albeit still not very well, but they're gone within five minutes, or so.I wish my experience with them had been more positive, but I just can't personally recommend them, based on how little scent they product, and how quickly they melt. This is unfortunate, since the visual presentation of the steamers is quite nice.
