Cover is crystal clear and no more tugging on shower curtain. Glides smooth and quiet. Everybody should have one of these. Makes a BIG difference.

These shower rod covers are transparent, strong, and you can cut them to size. They have a slit down one side, allowing you to put them over cylindrical surfaces. I needed them to protect my rose canes from a rabbit that was strilling off the green bark for food this winter. They work great but now this transparent rod cover is no longer available just a couple of weeks after I got it.

I thought I purchased one, but got two rolled in one. : ) I've been searching for shower rod covers for years and finally was able to find it at Amazon. In the eighties, these were easy to find at Second Ave. Bazaar in NYC (now defunct). I used these for the shower rods, it made it easy to slide shower curtain rings and worked the same in closets with hangers, they just made the rods look nicer and helped with sliding much more smoothly. There is no adhesion, just cut to the size you need, unroll one end and cover your rod. Quite simple.

They eliminated the annoying clunk and grab of moving grommet top curtains on an adjustable rod.

The shower rod cover fits quite nicely in my guest bath with new décor. It is invisible but will protect the actual metal shower rod given the dampness of bathrooms. At the same time, it makes for easier gliding of the shower curtain. I also decided to place it on the rod in the coat closet to prevent scraping and peeling of the wooden rod. I like it and again, it is invisible.Definitely recommend this product.

After some struggling with it, I was able to put this cover over my current shower rod, which was badly discolored. I also managed to use contact paper to update this clear plastic cover with colors that coordinate with my bath. I am very happy with the result.
